A while ago, JKR stated that the ship Neville/Luna was not going to happen. Later, she said in another interview that since saying that, she had actually begun to see a bi of a pull between those two.
Who thinks we could make her change her mind about ADMM?
Here's what we do. We go through the books with toothpicks and anything even the slightest bit shippy we put together. We add detailed psychological asessments of their characters, a few well-written fanfics true to character to show just how perfect they are together, and send the lot to JKR with a plea to rethink the ship.
When JKR did the N/L thing, the "canon" fanfic archives (PhoenixSong and the Sugar Quill) suddenly altered their rules to make the ship permissable. Considering that almost everything I write has ADMM in it, I personally would like to be able to post there without having to edit every story specifically for those archives. What does everyone else feel about this? Being canon, or close, can only be a good thing, right?
