Minerva lay in her husband’s arms and matched her breath to the rise and fall of his chest, listened to the beating of his heart and the echo of her own.
She treasured these quiet moments.
Here there were no worries; no school, no Ministry, no dark rumours of evil still out there. Here they were free of their burdens, free to be simply him and her.
Moonlight shone through the window and fell upon the sleeping figures. Black hair, white hair, spread across the pillows. Night and day, yin and yang. Minerva and Albus, two halves to a whole.

Fantastic quiet moment from Minerva's point of view. I usually like her view better than Albus', I'm not exactly sure why. Female perspective is nice, but sometimes unrealistic. You did a great job with it here, it's sweet but not not too romantic in that rot your teeth kind of way. It's just a nice moment. Good work!
