I think there is evidence that they are together, but I couldn't pick any of the choices from number four. There should have been some other "No" options, just as there was more than one "Yes" option, and the "Yes" options were very limiting. For example, some other "no" options might be: "No, I think there is evidence that they might be a romantic couple, but I don't think they are definitively together in the books and movies."
"No, I think it's a great idea, and I don't think there's any evidence to the contrary, but I don't think there is any definitive evidence in the books/movies that they are together in the books and/or movies." I also think this would be a good "Yes" option: "Yes, I believe there is evidence in the books and/or movies that they are together romantically as a couple, but I don't think we have enough evidence to say whether they are married or not." and/or "Yes, I think there is evidence in the books and/or movies that they are together romantically in some way, but they need to keep it secret for Minerva's safety, and we can't tell from the evidence whether they are married or not." I think it's not good to make people choose the one about it being disgusting just because they don't believe in any of the "yes" options you provide. I think the way the answers are worded, there is nothing that allows someone to say that in the books/movies, there is evidence that they are together, but that it isn't definitive, either as a yes or a no option. You have basically skewed the survey question so that anyone who doesn't agree with the "yes" options is reduced to saying "No, it's disgusting," which is obviously not the only reason why someone might not say "yes." You might actually prefer to have two separate questions -- One with a simple yes/no/not sure answer (e.g., "Do you think that in the books and/or movies, Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall are romantically involved as a couple?"), then say, which of these statements do you agree with most, then have a series of statements, such as: "There is evidence in the books and/or movies that they are together romantically in some way, but it's not clear whether they are married or not,"
"There is evidence in the books and/or movies that they are married,"
"There is no evidence that they are not together, but there is no conclusive evidence that they are together, either,"
"There is evidence in the books/movies that they are together, but it isn't definitive,"
"There is evidence in the books that they are romantically together, but not in the movies,"
"There is evidence in the movies that they are romantically together, but not in the books,"
"There may be things that could be considered evidence that they are together, but I think it's nonsense,"
"There is no evidence in the books or movies that they are together, and the lack of evidence is persuasive that they are not together."
In addition, many people aren't going to want to give their name in a survey of this sort. Maybe you should ask for them to give either their name or their fandom username. Also, at their age, it's weird to talk about boy/girl. Man/woman might be preferable, or male/female -- or just refer to a romantic relationship, since it's pretty obvious that Albus is a man and Minerva's a woman. *grin* I am a few decades removed from being Minerva's age, and I haven't been in a "boy/girl" relationship since I was a teenager. I've had plenty of male-female / opposite-sex romantic relationships, though! *wink* I hope this was helpful to you! It seems you are having some trouble getting results that the teacher will let you write up, so maybe this will help, if you still have that problem. Sorry I was unable to complete the survey the way it was currently worded! Good luck!
