i forgot to metion that this is a response to challenge 90 (sorry!) This scene is the ending to the movie (that i love) Pride & Prejudice!
Albus walked down to the lake to see Minerva sitting on the grass gazing into the water. Albus walked up to her and sat down next to her, then said, “How are you this evening, my dear?”
“Very well.” Minerva turned and looked into Albus’ blue eyes and continued, “But I wish you wouldn’t call me 'my dear'.”
“Why not?” Asked Albus.
“Because it’s what my father use to call my mother when they had a row.”
“And what am I allowed to call you?”
“Let me think...,” Minerva smiled, “Min or Minerva, for everyday perpose, my pearl for Sundays, and my love for special occasions….”
“And what should I call you when I’m crossed, Mrs. Dumbledore?”
“No…no, you can only call me Mrs. Dumbledore when you are when you are completely and perfectly and incandescently happy.”
“And how are you this evening…Mrs. Dumbledore?” Minerva didn’t answer because Albus leaned in and kissed her on her forehead and repeated, “Mrs. Dumbledore.” This time he kissed her on the cheek, then the nose (whispering the words ’Mrs. Dumbledore’),and then the other cheek. Finally looking into her beautiful green eyes as she looked into his blue ones and Albus whispered once more, “Mrs. Dumbledore,” then kissed her , passionately, on the lips.
