I've noticed that we don't have too many mystery stories on the board, so my challenge is to have Albus and Minerva help Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple solve a mystery. Minerva and Albus can replace characters who are already in the story, or you can add them in. The mystery must be one of the ones from Agatha Christie's books. You can find the official Agatha Christie website here: us.agathachristie.com/site/home/. It has plot synopses, games, and character information as well. The challenge ends 5 April 2008. I hope you enjoy! ------------------------------- EDITED 4 April, 6:57 pm Eastern time Because no one's submitted an entry yet, I'm moving the deadline to 10 April. Also, now Minerva and Albus can help any of Agatha Christie's characters solve a mystery. It doesn't have to be a long story - even a short drabble from the detective's perspective of their interaction with Albus and Minerva would be fine ;D!

I'm extending this until May 10th It is an excellent idea; we really do need to include more Mystery here on the boards!

I'd like to help out, but I'm totally unfamiliar with Agatha Christie. I went looking through the site, but man, it's all quite unfamiliar...

On this website (http://www.ebooks-ms.com/pages_lit/lit_latest.php), you can download several free Agatha Christie ebooks. "The Hound of Death and Other Stories", "Murder in the Mews", and "Parker Pyne Investigates" all contain short, relatively quick stories that would be quite easy to manipulate into a one-shot.
I know that we can't respond to our own challenge, but I wrote a one-shot based off the story "The Case of the Discontented Soldier", which can be found in "Parker Pyne Investigates". You can find my one-shot in the mystery section on this board under the title "The Case of the Discontented Wizard."
