My idiot soon to be exboyfriend has the insane idea that Albus used the Elixir of Life until the stone was destroyed. I never remember him saying anything about that. I'm a complete and utter dork and missed it or and I right he never used it?

No, the man that owned (or made) the Stone took the Elixir of Life until the Stone was destroyed (or something like that). It wasn't Albus.

No, that was Nicholas Flamel, Albus would have died at the end of PS/SS if he had ever taken the Exiler of Life from the stone.

I thought the closest we knew was that JKR said he was about 150 and Min was about 70?

JKR said that wizards and witches live longer than muggles, but that Harry hasn't figured that out yet. Griselda Marchbanks for example, must be even older than Albus since she examined him for his NEWT's.

Well he's really just a big dork. He reads HP too oddly enough. Complete and utter dork. He runs a Charmed and HP RPG and we were fighting weither Dumbledore was gonna be alive because I was playing McGonagall and I was wondering if she was gonna be married or a weidow. So I asked him and this whole mess started. *runs off to yell at boyfriend*

Albus never took the Elixir but has anyone wondered if he in fact help create the stone? I think the chocolate frog card of Albus' just says the alchemist who invented the stone and worked with Albus. Or something to the effect.
Also does anyone know if JK has said how long a witch and wizard can live? And if it's different from Purebloods to mudbloods? I can't think why it wouldn't be but then again that's just how I write it in my stories.
