Help! Curious about view count- what happened?

Hi! I was just curious about something -- I could have sworn that the view count for my story "Resolving a Misunderstanding" was in the thousands, but it suddenly dropped down to 900-something today. It struck me as odd. Does the count reset itself at some point? And is there a point at which a thread gets too long and a new thread should be started for a story? Thanks!

Apparently, it's a glitch with Proboards. This is what a Proboards staff member had to say about it:

Hi,

From time to time, depending on a number of factors, the number of views may reset to a different value.

They are hoping to resolve it in the next upgrade, but for now, we just have to deal with it.

Oh, well -- just will deal with it, I guess! (Not that I have any choice in the matter! Haha!) It looks very peculiar to have over 300 posts and only 900-something views, supposedly. And at least I know it wasn't all in my mind. LOL!
