Okay, here lately, the top of the screen here has said: Hey, beMMADfabulous, you have -1 messages, 0 are new.
Lol, I have -1 messages? How's that possible? ;D Is there a way to fix it?

I had that same problem, as well as many other problems. I don't think there is a way to fix it. I created a new account and it hasn't been a problem since then though.

That happened to me ages ago, then it went away and didn't reappear. Totally weird that the count would go negative, though!

Do you have any messages in your inbox? If so, try deleting one that you don't want and see if that works. It should correct itself.

Okay, now you do. Press the delete all button, that should reset your table.
