Title: The Last Speech
Summary: One last speech before the final battle.

Remaining students, teachers, Order members, and a few select others filled into the Great Hall. Sounds of battle, coldness of dementors approaching, and the silence of waiting, fear, revenge, all were present and growing.
Harry Potter, the boy who lived, the chosen one, stood beside his friends. Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, the Creeveys, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Seamus Finnegan, Angelina Johnson, Lee Jordan, Dean Thomas, and the rest of the former DA. Tonks, Moody, Remus Lupin, the Weasleys, and Hagrid all waited for the moment of battle. Their faces were stained with tears and sweat, etched with memories and pain, their eyes were on one person, Minerva McGonagall.
She rose above the others beside her, standing in all her glory, in traditional Scottish battle ware. When she spoke and scanned the room looking at its readied occupants, her voice was full of determination.
‘Today, we will end this battle once and for all. Today, for the many we have lost in the first war with Tom, we will fight for; for those and the likes of the Longbottoms, the Potters, and the Prewits. We fight for them, for freedom from this terrible evil that has trapped us in a veil of terror, and for our children, the young who have to live everyday with this burden on their shoulders.
There have been many great warriors in our ranks and there are many among us now. We will do the honor of defeating this lord, this man, this coward and we shall go down in history! Today, fight not for revenge, but what is right. Albus Dumbledore has taught us many things. One is that evil can be defeated. Good can prevail. In his memory and in those we have lost, we shall go forward, and triumph!” The hall erupted in cheers and battle cries. Wands were held up. The main doors were opened and McGonagall led the side of Light to the battle ground. Harry Potter killed Voldemort. And even though many people died, the Light won.
