bah. I'm back! With the background piece to blind. Seems like my friends love my piece so much that they requested for the back story.
A/N: background story to blind. You have to read that first to understand this. Too bad for you then. Note: ALBUS IS NOT DEAD!!!!
Chapter 1
Legends live and die. Those who are embedded in history, fade away into nothingness after awhile. Some others, however, do not.
There are people, like Merlin, whose name still echoes around our community, even now, 500 years after his death. Some, like Albus Dumbledore, are immortal, and still lives to tell the tale.
My name is Merlinth Gasare, and I am going to tell you the story, of Minerva McGonagall-Dumbledore, my grandmother, and dryad.

Erm..don't take this the wrong way, but isn't 'Blind' basically 'Siren Unveiled' from 'Minniequill'? Did you ask her if you could use the idea, because I'm sorry, but there is no possible way two stories could be so similar without copying somewhere along the line. I've read the original 'Siren Unveiled' and whilst Minniequill took it down; that really doesn't mean you can take the idea. Dryad/Naiad?
Oh, and I just spoke to 'DubhCleite' - she's really kinda well...pissed. Which is never a good thing. That's not a threat or anything but...I think you've got a pretty shirty review awaiting you when you check your email account.

Okay, what the hell is going on?!
I've had emails from minsireal and DubhCleite saying something about copying? Can someone fill me in because I am bloody confused! Dubh's gone off to God knows where and Minsireal lives on the other side of the world so I have no one to ask. Can someone fill me in?
Added note: - I just read Dubh's review. Erm, sorry about that. She's a tad over-protective of those closest to her. Mind you, that was tame compared to what she said (or rather yelled) to my ex-boyfriend (who cheated on me). The girl's fluent in gaelic and french - twas not pretty.

erm... I don't get what you people are trying to say. According to StormAngel, she did this in class... So I don't really get what is it about, as her classroom has no internet connection whatsoever. And she asked her teacher about the storyline and he recommended her to go with it. So I utterly have no freaking idea what this is about. Stormy's in a real rage now and is ranting some stuff about inept idiots. So can someone just freaking tell me wtf is going on? ? I do not see the connection here.

MinxPhoenixTabs, I agree with you. bah. Stormy's on the phone yelling at me. YOu know, I think that this fic is rather good. Admittedly, this has some bits from Minniequill's fic. But that doesn't mean that she fcking copied it! I saw the original bit that she wrote, and the teacher marked it! She did this and 'blind' in class! How could she have bloody copied MinnieQuill's work!! I do not understand this profound concept of copying someone's work in a place with no internet connection and a teacher supervising. Someone please enlighten me. Also, wtf is the whole ruckus about? Someone did something, posted it up, then you flame her. She did it in school for heaven's sake!!

Woah! I didn't flame her! I didn't even know about it until about an hour ago when I checked my email! This whole thing has been blown out of proportion.
Someone, PLEASE enlighten me!

I am not entirely sure what's going on but I was just wondering where I could find this story 'Blind', which section?

I think you can find it in the 100 prompts challenge section. And Minniequill, I'm sorry about that remark. It's just that when my stormy's getting angry, I get angry too. She's a very very close person to me.

Nah, think nothing of it. I imagine you're reacting similarly to Dubh who (and I will hit her around the head when I see her) acting like a lioness with hang-nail. She's one of those who is closest to me, and (unfortunately) has quite a temper on her.
You should have seen her reaction when our Year 12 maths teacher yelled at a year 8 kid and made her cry. Quite amusing for everyone else involved, but earnt her two weeks in detention. Think Minerva after a week without sleeping and a coffee shortage, and that's Dubh. lol
Anyway, this whole debacle is stupid. I don't even LIKE 'Siren Unveiled'! Hence I gave it to Dubh, and god knows what she did with it but it doesn't even remotely resemble it any more. the way I see it is, its similar, deal with it.

Where is the damn story anyway? I just looked on fanfiction.net and its not there. She hasn't taken it down has she? If so, then I am going to MURDER Dubh. Well maybe not murder...have a few harsh words. And there was no need to even think I'd be remotely upset. I'm fairly laid back. If it had been a word-for-word carbon copy I'd be irritated, but as it wasn't...meh. There are more important things to worry about. those three reports I have to write for instance... Does Storm want to talk to me, so I can assure her I DON'T CARE? The emails minnie_quill@hotmail.com if so.

I dunno. I think she took it and the background piece down. I have to talk to her. Again. Maybe she's more relaxed now. She was rather upset just now though.... Told her that too much stress is bad for her...

Well give her my assurances that Dubh will receive an ear-thrashing tomorrow. I'm going to bed now, so I won't be on MSN to talk, but please tell her that.

hello. I'm back. And minniequill, I'm not blaming anyone anymore. frmtheashes took it a teeny bit too far.... not that I'm complaining... I've did the next chapter. I'm posting this up here first though Chapter 2 A dryad is born, only when the time is right, which accounts for the dwindling amount of my people. This time usually happens during long years of peace, where the safety of our people are almost fully guaranteed. I was born just after the war against Voldemort. My mother, Ardell, also a dryad, had sired me with another dryad, who goes by the name of Kenate Gasare. Oops. That’s way off topic. As I was saying before, we are born usually in times of peace. However, there are certain exceptions. One being my grandmother, Minerva McGonagall-Dumbledore. Minerva McGonagall was born 6 years after the World War 1 ended, living in a small cottage in the Scottish countryside. She was never exposed to any facades of the war that had happened just six years before her birth. Even Minerva herself was not aware that she is a dryad.
