AN: So this is a one shot drabble-like thing in Snape's POV.Rewriting the scene in GoF when Cedric and Harry land in the front of the maze I don't really thrill for it, but its been in my head for a while. If anyone is willing to beta this and make it flow better, I will love them forever. Thanks!!!

"Keep everyone in their seats!" yelled Fudge.
I gave him a scathing look and I am quite sure that Minerva did also. Albus and Harry had just gotten back, and we were both eager to get through to the pair, but for very different reasons.
Fudge put his hand on Minerva's arm to force her to look at him.
"A boy's just been killed."
I snapped my head around and looked around Fudge, the witless wonder.
Potter and Dumbledore were bent over something. Minerva and I pushed through without another thought, Minerva falling down to her knees next to Albus and laid a hand on the young boy that she could not fix.
My hand was on Albus' back, the old fool could break any moment because of his only weakness. Love. Love of all of the people around him.
Fudge mumbled something about there being too many people to witness this scene as Potter wailed on about death. I turned to him to tell him to stop his whining when I saw his eyes. The almond shaped startling green eyes sparkling with tears.
Mr. Diggory stumbled over everyone and fell to the groud at his son's feet as Albus, Minerva and I moved back.
"Albus. Albus, Alastor has taken Harry." said Minerva, sounding as though she had a sudden head cold.
"He wouldn't have-" Dumbledore stopped short as we all looked around to where Harry had been seconds before.
Minerva's face had gone whiter then it had been before, although Albus and I both knew that she would not say a thing until she was out of ershot of all of the children.
We all took off towards the castle.
"Albus, darling, they cannot have taken another one, not another one of my little ones!' yelled Minerva as we sped up the stairs.
"Not the time to whine, Minerva!!" I yelled at her as we burst through the corridor that led to Alastor's office.
"Why woud he take him, something else must be terribly wrong!' screeched Minerva.
I saw the boy's eyes- Lily' eyes- flashed before mine. I picked up my pace as the air around me seemed to get warmer. Albus must have figured out what was going on, and whatever it was made him extremly angry indeed.
I blasted the door open and in rushed an almost-composed Minerva McGonagall, followed by a furious Albus Dumbledore. I went in last trying to remain cool and composed when inside I was screaming.
What was going on? Voldemort was back? Minerva was loosing control?
Suddenly I felt a white=hot burn on my arm for the second time that night, but this time it was warmer. This time the Dark Lord was looking for me and only me, but I had to stay and help.
I promised to be there for Harry in the name of love, not just to be a double agent for Dumbledore, the second of several roles in the galmorus life of Severus Snape would just have to wait.
Harry looked up at me as he had done before, I don't know why, the child and I loathe each other, but without a doubt, he was looking at me, alothugh I could not tell you why...
A week later, before the third Order meeting started, I went up to Dumbledore.
"What is your favorite feature of Minerva?"
"Her eyes." replied the old man with a smile.
I nodded and walked away, at least now knowing why I had such a weakness for the boy.
I looked over at the counter and saw a picture of Black and Potter and, without adue, knocked it down onto the floor.
Maybe weakness wasn;t the right word...
