Years ago, when I was still a Star Trek fan, I've spend hours laughing my head off with these unbelievably funny cartoons. And this afternoon I found out that this person also draws Harry Potter (or rather Hairy Plopper) cartoons. Here's a link to the site:
cartoons.sev.com.au/Sev-Space/Hairy-Plopper/
And one little preview. ;D
Enjoy!

heheeeee ;D this is soooo good. ;D but do i sense somebody there who actually wanted my Ian for Dumbles? *le sigh* Nooooo...sorry, but I don't think he is the right actor for Albus Dumbledore. He was Gandalf...thats ok...but Richard Harris is unrivalled als Albus Dumbledore. He was simply the best and McKellen would be always a copy. Just look here in this forum...you see always picture from him, but no one from Michael Gambon. Delenn Dumbledore

Yeah, but there might be the reason that the Gambon's Dumbledore is so completely different from what we know and even imagined.... Hugs, Rikki

Yeah, but there might be the reason that the Gambon's Dumbledore is so completely different from what we know and even imagined.... Hugs, Rikki Yes *sigh*...you are allright but the Dumbledore in the books has long silverwhite hair and beard and wears splendid colourful robes. Richard Harris looked like the books Dumbledore. Why did they changed that? Gambons Dumbledore has grey hair much too short and the robes aren't splendid...he looks more like an Hippie of the 60's. There is the mistake. They won't replicating the Harris Dumbledore but thats nonsens. There is a book from J. K. Rowling and there they can read how Dumbledore, McGonagall or anything else looks. Especially Dumbledore was very excact described. There is no reason to "decorate" Albus new. Everyone nows that it is another actor and the other kids (the younger for example they didn't know the Harris Dumbledore) are probabley disappointed to see a Hippie Dumbledore and not the fascinating wizard from the book. Greetings Delenn Dumbledore *much bigger sigh*

I know and after watching the PoA dvd with the specials I really wonder why JKR agreed so much with the new style - I mean not only the new Dumbledore but also the castle and everything. Actually that new director changed pretty much. *sigh*

Actually that new director changed pretty much. *sigh* Hugs, Rikki Yes, they changed a lot...not all changes are bad of course. But such a important person like Albus Dumbledore shoudn't be changed if they have done in PoA. I don't know why JKR has agreed but I assume there are reasons behind who the "ordinary" fan isn't aware of. Greetings Delenn Dumbledore

No, of course not all changes are bad. But first Dumbledore - and then I didn't really recognize the castle anymore. I mean, e.g. why's Hagrid's hut downhill all of a sudden? Just wondering. Hugs, Rikki

:(JKR actually could not agree nor disagree with the 'new' Dumbledore appearance. In her website, she explicitly says the from the moment she sold the rights for filming to WB, she no longer had any influence on the characters. The director might ask her for advice but he are not obliged to follow it. Sad but true: Hollywood is dictating the movie, not JKR.
