Today it was reported that a surge of bets have been placed on our beloved Albus to die in the forthcming book. The surge of bets happened in Bungay, UK where part of the book is being printed and this has sparked speculation that somone has seen some of the book! Below is the website that I got this from, it has also been on the news and in the papers. news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4570000/newsid_4575800/4575895.stm

Let it be a rumor. If he dies... he can't die!

I just read the articles via the links on Mugglenet.com. I too am hoping it is a rumor. I find it interesting that after a leak of OotP from the same company (when they found the copy in the field) that the publishers would have returned to them. Could this be a plant? A fake copy (or part of one) being printed?
I also think book 6 is too early for JK to kill AD. I have my doubts as to whether he will survive, (MM for that matter was well), til the end but this is only book 6. We do have one more to go. Think about this logically, it is too easy, too predictable for JK, after all of unexpected twists in the plotline - killing AD is the easiest route to take. Besides how much more can the character of Harry really handle before jumping off the deep end and sacrificing himself (which although possible again not probable in book 6). Cross your fingers and hope it is a rumor.
You don’t REALLY think she would do that to us, do you?

Yes I agree, it would be so predictable for Jo. It stands on her website that everything that does not come from her or her publishers is a rumor. I was scared to death when Min was attacked. She might do that to us, and I am very frightened that our beloved Albus migt die. What will we do without him?

Well, I don't really believe it until I actually read it in my copy of the book. But I agree, it would be far too early to kill Albus off in book 6. If he has to die at all, I'd say it's book 7.
