Harry Potter Symposium

[Hogwarts Duo]

Hey everyone! While wandering the internet today, we came across a link for a Harry Potter symposium to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in July of 2006. It looks like a lot of fun. This particular group had an event in
2003 and will be having one this year in Salem, Massachusetts.

The Vegas event will take place at the Marriott and some of the rooms will be decorated to look like Hogwarts. There is a Great Hall and common room, which will feature decorations for each house. There are the usual speakers and workshops but they also have night classes (in Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, etc.) where you can earn a certificate. There are also fun events such as a "Hogsmeade" outing to the Strip and water Quidditch. They also have an auction and an artists display.

It looks like a lot of fun and we are seriously considering attending and wanted to forward the link to all of you in case others on the board are interested.

I need to think about my main holiday next year!!
I might just consider this, well seeing as i'll be working by then...only hoping i pass my finals this week!!

Hmmmm, very interesting. Any excuse to go to Vegas! Sounds like a lot of fun. It would be great to go in a group. I would seriously consider it. :-)
