Okay.. see now that just made me cry. And not just because the person thought it appropriate to post such utter rubbish on ff.net(a site which i am on so often some people know it as my second home).. its because this person felt that it would be "FUNNY " to make me and other MMAD shippers feel like their veiws and their thoughts and their interpretations ,on the MMAD relationhsip, were stupid and pointless and not worth spending time reading/writing about, and that just because of stupid things like age difference it is wrong!! And actually teachers are allowed to have relationships..two teachers from the same department in my school are married..anyway..i'm ranting on..but i had to say something..because it really upset me and i'm fed-up with people trying to put down what i believe in.. okay rant over.. if you actually read this.. you have no i dea how much i love you right now.. here.. Greetings from one who is seriously concerned about your sanity,
I find your story a very poor stab at comedy and agree with all those who say this isn't fanfic. We aren't narrow minded, it's you who's being disrespectful. I mean, the whole point of is for everyone to support whichever ships ahe want - NOT LIMITED TO CANON SHIPS. You have fun, we have fun. You do not go and make satirical comedies and hurt shippers.
Strictly speaking, I am an MMAD shipper, (and I know you've been slewn by the board) but this review is on behalf of all shippers whose ships you are trying to sink.
Literally speaking, I find the storyline mindlessly dull, the ending sick, fan poking his head from the stars stupid, grammar atrocious and the whole thing, pretty pointless.
I know you wanted to give us a laugh, but I amn't laughing at all.
Next time, try not to stand up by stepping on someone's toes.

Well, first I would like to thank you for reviewing. Really, it's greatly appreciated no matter what the content. Intelligent flames make me think, bad flames make me laugh, good reviews make me happy, bad good reviews...well, you get the picture.

I'm sorry you got no enjoyment out of my story. Maybe, in my numerous and long-winded author's notes, I failed to mention once that it was the crazy I.S.s I was satirizing. Technically, you have every right to ship whatever you like and that is, as you say, the beauty of fanfiction. Technically, I respect your right to do so. But you have to admit there are some MMAD stories that, as a lover of the English language, you simply can't countenance. You know it's true.

I had a blast writing "Irresponsible Shippers," and plenty of readers think it's hilarious. I'm truly sorry you didn't, but that's a failing on my part. I hope you got something out of it.

I'm sorry, but I hate to stop and put my foot down after chapter four. I mean, honestly, I'm an AD/MM shipper, go ahead, laugh if you want. The whole world knows Albus is gay, fan-fiction is written as a response to the books. Yes, this is a response, but written very poorly and does not seem to have a central plot at all; unless bashing all "weird" ships, in your opinion, may I add, is considered fan-fiction. I know this story was removed before and two members of the Albus and Minerva fan-fiction board have already reported this. If you don't like the pairings, then as Golden Solidus mentioned in the review before, then don't read it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll quote some from Chapter Four.
"And now, without any irritating preamble… This chapter has to be my favorite, on account of its being the most-flamed."

Now, really, you love this the most because of the number of FLAMES you've gotten? Really - that's no way to take a review. And I'm sure I can get more of the Albus and Minerva board to flame if you'd like - just for your "encouragement" on this chapter.

*cough* For your information, there is less than 50 years between them. Albus was born after 1881 and was teaching at Hogwarts when Minerva began her schooling there. Minerva, on the other hand, was born in 1925 and began teaching in 1956. And yes, they do talk, but, the Headmaster and HIS Deputy wouldn't discuss everything in front of the whole school. They surely have meetings in either of their offices and staff meetings - for goodness sakes - they probably talk, even as FRIENDS, more than us readers realize. And yes, we at the Albus and Minerva fan-fiction boards are perfectly aware that Albus Dumbledore is gay and had romantic feelings towards Gellert Grindlewald. And we also perfectly aware that Minerva McGonagall is a woman, thank you very much.

After all the bashing we have received from JK Rowling; the last thing we need is for someone like you to jump aboard. We are clearly aware that our ship is scorned upon by numerous people - including yourself and JKR. We don't need some "story" like yours to prove that this pairing is "weird" in the eyes of many.

I dearly hope she responds.

I did find that story annoying. I believe the author is hypocritical. In the actual story she is bashing the ships. In the responses, she is basically saying that the story is just meant to make fun of ships and that she's sorry we didn't find it funny.

Well whatever, just best to brush it off and keep going. I'm not going to bother leaving a review because it will just turn out to be a flame and I don't send flames. Plus, she just seems to enjoy the attention. It does give her more reviews.

Yea, I agree. She seems to enjoy the flames that are sent to her. I guess that's why I haven't sent her one yet. I don't want to give her any kind of enjoyment.

I know this is quite long in coming, but hey..

So, I read the fic up to chapter 5, I did not find it particularly offensive myself, but that might be because I found her fic boring (I honestly don't know hos she got so many positive reviews :/).

All in all, I think it was the longest review I ever wrote, and quite diplomatically, too. I am always extremely polite

Here goes:

I only got as far as this chapter, and cannot force myself to read anymore... I did not like your fic so far.
Not really beacause you "parody" non-cannon fanfictions (although, you have to admit that Snape-Lily unrequited/puppy love is possible). I simply did not find it funny, maybe we don't share the same humour, maybe I simply find the different transitions and "plot twist" gratuitous, maybe your last drabbles are better constructed because you have more experience in writing things of this sort.
I also thought that maybe you should be careful of other people's sensibilities. I mean, a parody is certainly good, but I got the sentiment that you were rather mean about the way you presented the ships that did not find grace in your eyes. I am mostly an ADMM shipper myself, and read some very good parodies of that ship, that really made me laugh: I found them to be well constructed and very tongue in cheek The tone in your drabbles (I repeat the ones I've read so far) was much more... incendiary? (I do not think that it is the right word, but bear with me), in any case, it is clear that some felt attacked really strongly about their ships (and the way you tried to answer ther flaming comment certainly was not the best).
I am not going to enter what I like to see in parodies, but I can tell you that repeating that a ship is gross and that one of the characters is gay (which was never mentioned verbatim in any of the books) is not the way to make a parody, it is more a non constructive attack (I am only telling you what I felt as a shipper of non canon couples).
