The one from the International trailer in the Yahoo file is the okay one with them dancing.
I really wonder why JK let them do that if there isn't something between them? The movies have tend to show more then the books do but in the right direction. (you don't see Hermione running to grab Harry's hand when she is scared) Cross your fingers.

Agreed, the movies are much more straightforward. There is definitely hope.

I found the first pic of McGonagall to on yahoo. I hope she will be more in the movie than the last one . And I am still not just to Gambon as Dumbledore. I know he is a great actor but still....Richard Harris was my Dumbledore

the robe is the same one as she wore in the scene in PoA when she tells Harry he can't go to Hogsmeade without a signed form. And yea it is a little off. I don't like the costume designer they got for PoA.

Now that is a stunning picture of our fair Minerva! Nice to see she has a drink in her hand I actually like these robes better than the ones she wore in PS and COS, they are more fitted, elegant and Minerva like in my view Also like the hat though I have the offical Minerva McGongall hat from the first two films (Ang sent it to me for my birthday this year....lovely miss ang )

As long as they keep the kids in robes and not jeans, I won't complain. The "muggle costumes" were without a doubt the most annoying about the POA movie. Well, second place. Most annoying thing has to be that they cut Minerva's scenes.

What's that necklace she's wearing, has she worn that before? It looks heavy.

That necklace does look heavy...And her wine doesn't look like real wine! Looks like Ribena to me!

P.S. Does anyone else think it's possibly significant that a couple of photos with Minerva in have been released?

Gah! Don't go in the lake with that thing, Minerva!!Definitely not! However, I like it, despite it's apparent heaviness, it's rather hip! ;D "Where can I get a necklace like that? " I did wonder about that too, mugglemin, there MUST be a reason for releasing those two wonderful photos... Or perhaps not... I wonder though P

I think as so many of you that the neclace looks very heavy...I like the picture a lot...and hope that there is more Minerva in this movie than the last.

I was at work and LOL at the scene of Minerva getting Ron to dance with her. It was incredibly funny. My cube mates thought I had lost it.

If they cut this, I'll sue!!! (not the necklace, the clip of our favourites dancing! Did you all notice that they dance quite differently than the others? More elegant, I assume. There goes British upbringing in the Fifties for you!

"The first task of the competition is amazing. It is very well produced. Professor McGonagall gives the students a firm speech about the yule ball and it's importance for social reasons and then gives a dance lesson using one of the students as her partner."
Can I just say, that I totally love the expression on Ron's face and his "What?" when McGonagall tells him to put his hand on her waist. It makes me laugh every time I see it.
