Hey, I was just wondering if what you guys' oppinions are on the twincest issue?
I met a girl in Oxford who supported the Fred/George pairing and frankly I found it slightly... well, disturbing.

Okay so I am odd. But I happen to like twincest if it is well written. Mostly because as I dont see Fred and George as two seperate intities. I see them as one person with a few extra body parts. I think at times they dont even know who is who or even if they are seperate. But it has to be well written.

I once met a pair of twins at a local fair. They went to the same high school as my friend, and we got to talking about Harry Potter. When they said that they are both fred/george reader/writers, I was 100% grossed out, I must say.
I don't even belive people should write Narcissa/Sirius or Tonks/Sirius fics, because even cousins are too closely related for my taste, I don't care how small the pure blooded wizarding community is!

I don't deny the fact that some stories might be well written, but that is amazingly disturbing. The idea of twins having sex is just going too far.. Normal brothers/sisters is bad ENOUGH but that really is gross. I respect others' views, some people may like it and some people may write really good stories shipping Fred/George etc, but in my opinion it really is disgusting.

In the U.S. the show Law and Order Special Victim Unit just did a show about voluntry incest. I just thought it was a very odd thing considering we've been talking about it here.

Well being a liberal American and Democrat, I'm all for freedom of speech and letting the people write whatever it is they have to say. For myself I can't see it and I loved the pic above, but I wouldn't want to go so far as to say it is disgusting b/c who am I to judge. I know far more people who would be more grossed out at the idea of old and ancient (sorry, Albus) people making love than two randy boys experimenting.

Yep and about the old ancient thing some people *cough* Branda *cough* like trying to sick other people out *cough*me *cough* with that on TFS and stuffs. I'm prefectly fine with AD/MM lemons just Twincest if nasty.

Same here.  It's just gross to think about it, which I don't even want to do! I have a twin brother (and two sisters), and I can't imagine having a sexual relationship with them, EVER!! So, I think I made it pretty clear I do not like to read about brother/sister or twins relationships. But well, that's only my opinion. |

Ick... Yes... that's my response really.
I have a friend who watches anime a lot (so do I, come to think of it) and she's gone mad on this series which heavily involves twincest. It revolts me. People can write what they want, but I have to say the concept makes me puke up a little.
