Hey all! On fanfiction.net I've noticed that a new character has been added to the list of HP characters and her name is Marlene M. Does anyone know who she is, because I have absolutely no idea and I feel like such a horrible HP fanatic for not knowing  Cammie |

I noticed that, but I have no idea who Marlene M. is either. Maybe it is a mistake? *is going to feel stupid is this is an HP character I have forgotten about*

This is from the Harry Potter Lexicon:
McKinnon, Marlene (? - c. 1978- 1980 [Y-2 - Y0])
A member of the Order of the Phoenix in the 1970s (see), Marlene and her whole family were killed by Voldemort's supporters, including Travers (PS4, GF30, OP9).
We are not told Marlene's exact date of death, but since she appeared in Moody's "team photo" and given what Moody said about her, she died between the time Lily and James left school and 31 October 1981 [Y1]. -- MLW

I've been wondering who she was, I couldn't remember- when I reread the books I usually just look for ADMM stuff. ^^
But what's she doing in the character list? She's only a very minor character, as far as I know she doesn't even make an appearance. If some other characters are left out, why include her when she has hardly anything to do with any of the events in the story, other than she was in the Order?

FF.net is very strange, isn't it. I mean, some of my favourite characters are not on that list, but I can find stories about them in the search engine, and yet, who has written about Marlene? No-one!

actually, there are some M rated stories about her for some reason...I kept trying different things until I found a fic with her in it. but you are right, Kingsley isn't on the list...that makes me sad.
