I just realised this but I have no proof about the Albus part of it but very possible Min could have a kid. Not sure about teh father though. I'm not saying it is her's or anything but there is a possiblity, and it's just from the movies but we can always hope. In the first movie the name M. G. McGongall appears on a trophy for a second. The date wouldn't work out for it to be Min so I'm thinking it could be her kid. Whoever M. G. McGongall is would have to be in school in the late 60's or early 70's making Min about 40 or so at the time. Since Harry was the youngest Quidditch player in a century then M. G. McGongall would have to be at least 12 at the time, making Min about 30 at the time M. G. was born. Yes it could be a cousion or niece, or whatever but it does kinda make sesne to me at least. I just had to say that it just hit me a second ago when I was watching HP 1

oooo... There might be a possibility... I think Albus could be the father though.... on the other hand, it may be that it may be her niece or some distant relative...

Oh, wouldn't it be awesome if Min had a daughter??? Though, I must resign to the fact it could be some niece or relative like Stormangel said, but I hope it's the former.....

I want Min to have a kid.... But I'm gonna cry for hours and then die and sink into the floor if it isn't Albus'... *cries at just the thought*. ~mmadlyinlove~

I saw that one time and posted it on the ADMM yahoo group. They said that the trophys might have been for the best seekers ever and all the people who have trophies are from different times.

I hope so. I can just imagine Albus with a daughter. She'd be "Daddy's girl".

Wouldn't it be cool if it was Minerva herself? We know she is a fan but her actually playing is just fanfiction. For now Has anyone ever asked JKR about this cup in the film? It might be interesting but she would probably say nothing anyway

I always figured it was her, just like kissofdeath mentioned. If not, I just assumed it was an anachronism (maybe on purpose, maybe not).

It can't be Minerva ... The date's wrong ... I can't remember exactly and I don't have the movie at the moment (gave it to a friend), but I think Minerva's too old to have played at that time ....

It would be pretty sweet if it was. But idk, maybe the movie just kinda put it in there. Do we really know if it was in the book. That is what we really have to go by.

It was me. Lol, as long as that means you are Albus's girl as well.

This situation is what actually made me ship AD/MM in the first place. I saw the date and thought Minerva was older than that, and realized it was about the perfect age for a daughter or son. And who better to have a child with than Albus?

oh my gosh! haha, how did any of you spot that?!
I must have just been oblivious... (kind of like how in the new version of pride and prejudice, mrs bennet is just sprawled over the couch eating bonbons and staring at the ceiling? yes, well, that must have been me while I was watching HP1)
