The fact the the Harry Potter series has truly ended has just struck me, I can't help but feel a bit sad.
Do any of you suppose somone else will take up Rowling's ideas and write a squeal??? (Hints at any of us "board" members.)

It is a bit sad ... and I find it strange that I first picked PS a decade ago and am now just reading the end. I wish JKR would write more. She keeps saying she won't continue the Potter series and that's fine, but why not write little biographies on the characters in the HP world. I can just see it now: The Life and Times of Minerva McGonagall. Or a book of pictures, maps, and guides of the wizarding world. Or a book with all of her rough sketches and handwritten notes regarding this series, like some of the stuff on her website. I realize it is wishful thinking, but stuff like that would be interesting. - Jess

As long as she does not kill off any more of my favorite characters! Lol.

I wish we could know more about Minerva, but at the same time... I think I almost like where Rowling left her. I kind of like that idea of us never knowing. It would have been nice if she gave us at least a little insight into Minerva's character *sadface*
The best part about Minerva is that the way that harry summarized her in the first book was how she always stayed. Stern and proper but really cares on the inside about all of her students. Maybe that's all we were intended to know. ):
