computer!
The lap top that I have been using to write has had a failure with the cd drive that it just wont work. This becomes a problem as I can't save, or upload the operating system disks to repair issues with the computer (its been fainting alot on me)
the new computers monitor is 30% larger and it has 8 usb ports plus a serial port and multi media ports., and 120 gig of memory. It can double burn a dvd so that it holds 8 gig of information, and, the word program allows me to draw right in the document-
Hot dang!
But the most wonderful thing about this computer is that it will allow me to continue to write and adjust to the needs for my vision. It has an audio pack, that It will let me know what I am doing with a voice, and once I figure it out, I will be able to dictate into the computer what I want to write. It was kind of funny, I was looking for something to fix the lap top when i realized that, even if I found a temp fix for this, I still couldn't guarentee that it would last very long and I couldn't justify the out lay of money to get something this old to be fixed when it may not last.
I am uploading my stuff to the web over the next few days. I may not hook my desk top to the internet, just yet, because, well, I don't know all of the bells and whistles yet, I have to go through all of the papers that came with it. I understand the basics of it, but it can do so much more, and - well, it still has the new car smell to it.
