Hi everyone, Don't know who of you know about it but there's gonna be a new Alan Rickman movie based on the Patrick Süskind novel "Perfume". And the first trailer popped up. Unfortunately it's only in German but it's still pretty good.  www.parfum.film.de/ Enjoy! Love, Rikki |

I saw this one in the cinema a few weeks ago before I started to read the book (I didn't read it because I saw the trailer, I had to read it for school and liked it, though it's a bit strange) I decided to watch the film as soon as it's in the German cinemas.

I didn't quite understand the German but it was an intriguing trailer. The film seems rather angsty, and weird, in a fascinating way, does that make any sense?  And it's always a bonus that Alan Rickman has a role in the film! ;d |

And it's always a bonus that Alan Rickman has a role in the film! ;d Well, it is. The ... subtitle is "Story of a Murderer", and that's what it is. The guy keeps killing girls for their scent. So I guess that does qualify as angsty.  Release date in Germany is 14 September, btw. |

I'm not sure if I'll watch the movie. I really like the book and what fascinates me most is the description of odors, but I have no idea how they want to show this in the movie. I really hope that they don't just concentrate on the murders...
