Okay, that's not entirely true, but I wrote a fic, right? It was called "Untitled." And I was showing it to the friend who first got me into ADMM. She has since gone over to the Dark Side of MMSS, kid you not, but that is another story.
Anyway, the fic was rather abstract and did not use names, and another friend of mine wanted to read it. Since no names were mentioned, I figured "Why not?"
Well, one thing led to another, and soon the entire female population of my grade had read the fic. With the exception of two people, everyone loved it. And one girl kept having this conversation with me:
"So he dies?"
"Yes."
"But WHY?"
"Because he does."
"Well, make him live."
"No."
"Why NOT?"
"Because he dies."
"And he never tells her how he feels?"
"No."
"And they're not together?"
"Nope."
And then the girl said, and I quote:
"Well, they should be! They are made for each other!"
This girl does not even read/support HP. She thinks it's from the devil.
And she STILL ships ADMM!
She doesnt know it's them, of course....
But she still ships 'em!
My MMSS friend is really upset. She kept explaining (still trying not to use names) why HER ship was better, but no one listened. She deserved it. Kinda. Cuz MMSS is screwy.

MMSS when written well can be wonderful. It just depends on how its written and if there is a plausible plot.

The first MMSS story I found made no utter sense at all. Snape got drunk and Min took advantage of him and got pregnant . Very screwy story. My whole class thinks I'm insane for reading/writing ADMM

Yay! It's really cool. And MM/SS? Psh! Doesn't compare In a nice way, it's just, Albus and Min are made for each other. Though we all think that...

LOL cool!
Only a few people at my school know that I write ADMM, and one of them called me a 'sicko.' However, as this was coming from someone who writes twincest, I wasn't too bothered.

He/she has some nerve. Twincest? Erm, can she say illegal?
I think a handful of people are aware that I write Harry Potter fanfiction, and a some of them aware I write ADMM, amongst other stuff I used to write. One person has read some of my old stuff and my first ADMM fic, but that's it. Even something with no names I couldn't show anyone. It's just too personal. Which seems odd since I share it with all of you, but it's different, we're all shippers, and we all read/write and I didn't know any of you before I posted anything.

I know how you feel, EloquentPhoenix. It seems more private when you post things online, which is completely paradoxical, but still, that's how it is.
Private isn't exactly the right word, I guess, but it's close. Kinda. Ish.
And to minniequill: I'm sorry if I offended you. I suppose any fic with any pairing can be wonderful if well written, of course. I myself have never encountered any plausible MMSS, however. And, as you probably could guess by my membership on these boards, I ship ADMM rabidly, so for me, MM/Anyone other than AD or AD/ anyone other than MM just doesn't work properly.
Again, that is just my opinion, and I'm sorry if I offended you.

Me three to EloquentPhoenix. I would much rather broadcast my writing on the internet rather than show it to people within my immediate circle of friends/acquaintances/etc.

That is awesome! I wish I could convert my whole class. =] I agree with all of you about posting things online. Only 3 of my friends know, and one even kinda supports it but more from the side that Minerva loved Albus but it was not recipicated. Anyway, Other than that my old english teacher has read one fic I wrote, but sadly I have not even posted here. No Offence. She is the only personI know who has read anything I have wrote. Yea Wow. That just confused myself.

lol. I agree with everyone. It is almost more private-ish to post online because, well, almost none of us know each other like BFF's do. Only a few people know I write fan fic. Not even my BFF knows.
Much Love, M. Rose

There is this one girl named Kaitlyn (not angledust) in my class and she has taken to calling me FP (Federal Prison) because she thinks I'm going to get arrested for copy right infrigment over writing ADM and all my other ships. She's kinda crazy anyway but she's just straight up annoying at times. I've explained 40 or so times that it's not illegal. She's driving me crazy.

I did do that. She still won't believe me. I even went as far as to ask my history teacher to show the class this site. She's still as stubbron as a donkey.

I don't envy you. I tend to stay clear of the class ditzes, although they do tend to flock around me, as I can usually explain to them what happened in the chapter we were supposed to read for homework, or do their project for them, or something. Ugh.
Has she ever spoken to you like you're the stupid one? I HATE IT when they do that....

Yes she has and she's so snooty too. When my favorite race horse Barbaro was put down yesterday and I started crying about it she stared in on me saying, "They only breed them for money if it wasn't worth anything they were right to put IT down." She is such a pain in the butt. The worst part about it is I have temper like Min's minus the being able to control it. She has come within seconds of getting punched many many times.

wow... !! Lucky you. I don't really let anyone read my admm fics except for all you nice people up here... But that's different. most of my female classmates (5 of them) know that I'm totally mad over admm...(only because they read some of my fanfiction on ff.net) But they think I'm crazy.. and the guys who knows simply tease me about it... sigh... when can these people understand??

MM/SS??? *shudders* no. That is just wrong.
But it's her loss, though. How could she actually leave this ship? *shakes head* Makes no sense.

I don't understand it either.
She's since left MMSS, so there is still hope for her. Praps she will come back to the light.
