I just received news about an audition for an opera company I did at the end of June. I have been accepted into the chorus. I'm an opera singer, everyone! Just had to share.

That's so awesome! I recently just received my audtion results as well, but for the Helena Symphony Orchestra and Chorale. I'm not an opera singer by any means but we are going to be performing Donizetti's "Elixir of Love" which should be very cool. I feel really out of place in the chorus since I am one out of about five women who are around my age. The majority of the men and women in the chorus are around their fifties and older. Yikes!
