I have been working as a waitress since December at this retirement home called the Camelot.. It's just up the street from where I live. I could seriously walk there in five minutes or less. Everything has been going as well as any job can until recently. Today, they brought in this hoity toity know it all chef who says everything we've been trained to do is wrong. He's leaving a few things the same but changing others. Not a big deal overall and I believe as soon as we get used to it, we will be saving ourselves a lot of trouble, right? Right. Well, even before this I've been talking of leaving just because I need something better for myself. And a few of my co workers are dunces which is irritiating me. Not to mention my bosses are leaving and I'm gonna be sad without them.
All this I could deal with... But then the hoity toity chef... Mr Know It All... comes out and starts discussing how poorly we have been trained and how horrible everything is.
I can't stand him and I know if I continue to work with him, I'll blow a gasket. I'm seriously considering turning in my two weeks notice by the end of this week. This job is too stressful for me at this point and I can't contend with it. So I am seeking for another job with better opportunites and such and pays me better for my trouble. What do you guys think? Is that smart for me to do at this point in time? Let me know.

*Huggles Mayday*
I think that blowing a gasket would not be a good things, however maybe you should just give him a chance before deciding to turn your notice in and look for a better job at the same time?

I want to give him a chance, but I fear he's going to be pushing me to the limit every day I work. Thanks for the advice and the hug. I really need it right now. ~mmadlyinlove~
