I felt so stupid when mmadlyinlove was telling me about this comedian she saw who was making fun of Mexicans, and I didn't get any of the jokes. It's funny how much some stereotypes can differ from one area to the next!

it's like that quote, I think it's Oscar Wilde, but I'm not sure "I don't discriminate, I hate everyone equally", except more of a mocking thing and less of a hate, but you get the idea

Oh yeah, I always say something similar to that to my family and friends, "I don't have favorites, I dislike you all equally!" I don't remember who said that, but... LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

She was a huge HP fan and my fav teacher. I went with her and some other students to London over spring break my Junior year.

I was home last weekend and went for coffee with a friend. My Art teacher from high school (Sally Windle, but we call her SWindle) and from elementary school were there. I hadn't seen Mr. Huffman (elementary) in a really long time, probably 10 years, and he called out "Laura Mawhorr, as I live and breathe" from across the shop. It was hilarious. I had a bit of a troubled childhood, so I think I'm pretty memorable to my teachers because of that, plus I "matured" early (due to troubled childhood) so I was always closer in mindset to my teachers than my classmates. It's still a bit shocking when these people can pick you out of a crowd though.

Yeah, same here. I didn't have the whole troubled youth thing, but I was always closer to my teachers than to my friends in middle school. Even in high school I had a lot of teacher friends. Haha. ~mmadlyinlove~

LOL! It's funny cuz all my teachers look at my mom like, "You're Mayleene's mother? *ogle ogle ogle* How did you raise such a daughter?" And my mom was like, *looks left, looks right* "Uh, with a firm hand that could love and beat her at the same time if she put one toe out of line?" ~mmadlyinlove~
