I just thought I'd see what everyone else said. I had a tough choosing, even in my own poll. But I eventally decied that I would chose horseback riding, although that came dangerously close to midnight stroll by the beach. ~mmadlyinlove~

I went for other, because under ideal circumstances I would choose dancing, but that woul mean a good dancer and the right type of dancing(somehow grinding does not seem particularly romantic to me), something like a nice waltz or een better a tango. But since that rarely happens, I would say dinner and a show, not a movie. The opera or ballet would be great and very romantic, and if he's willing to sit through men in tights, then he's either a keeper, or gay in which case he is most definatly a keeper lol

Midnight stroll anywhere pretty, quiet and secluded. And beach falls into that.

I said other. How about a movie, then a candlelit dinner, then a midnight stroll.. not necesarily by the beach, though. ;D

I think they're all good ideas. Unfortunately, these are not the best answers cuz, as you guys have shown, each one varies slightly, so I just went with the overall ideas. ~mmadlyinlove~

I went with the midnight stroll, anywhere that allows for focus on just each other.

I think curling up on a soft rug in front of a roaring fire in a secluded log cabin in winter would be romantic. If you walk on a beach or something you get sand everywhere.

Awww... That's sweet. Yeah, sand can be a pain sometimes.... But think of a shower. Haha. I didn't mean that way, nasties! ~mmadlyinlove~

I chose dancing. At first I was going to pick horseback riding, but I know I would rather have some physical contact with the person. I agree with misshoneychurch88, grinding is not particularly romantic, but on the other hand I wouldn't want a waltz or anything too formal. Just a man to lead me about the room with his arm around my waist would be nice. But, the setting would have to romantic too! I will stop now or else I will go on forever! - Jess

Yeah, grinding has never been my thing either. Then again, I'm not much of a dancer. haha. I mean, if I knew the steps and we were all dancing the same type of dance, I wouldn't mind, but not free style. Hehe. ~mmadlyinlove~

Seriously. It's so hard for me to meet a guy period, let alone have him watch me while I'm dancing. I feel oober self conscious like that. ~mmadlyinlove~

well I do like grinding, it's fun, just not particularly romantic...sexual yes, romatic no.
and I'm a dancer, so I have almost no inhibiions when it comes to daning in from of people. I will make an ass out of myself at the drop of a hat, with no alcohol, but thats just me

I rarely go out dancing but when I do my friends all tease me about just letting myself go. I usually get into the music and just move lol, no matter how ridiculous I look! I do like dancing with Adam though. We always have a lot of fun being silly. He likes to dip me when I'm not expecting it. lol Good thing I trust him!

I'm the same way. I wouldn't want my bf (if I HAD one) to spend millions of dollars on roses and candy. Roses die and chocolates are eaten.... They don't last. I'd rather he save his money and we go to like a fair or something. Memories last.... ~mmadlyinlove~

One of the girls I lived with a few years ago is horrible about her idea of what is romantic. The guys she was dating while we roomed together was laid off from his job and was going to school full time, so he had zero money. They still went out to dinner several nights a week, but she paid. Which is fine in my mind, I would rather go dutch or something and do more than make him pay and do less. Anyway, I found out she was actually making him owe her for all the meals and movies she was making him go to. When they broke up he gave her $400. I couldn't believe that. I would never be like that. I'm with mmadlyinlove and jayejaye. I would rather spend time with my love, not spend money!

Dude, that sucks. I pay for my friends all the time and never make them pay me back, so I could not imagine doing that to my bf. That's crazy! ~mmadlyinlove~

whoa...poor guy! That's an awful way to be...good thing for him that they broke up! That is exactly what i thought. They broke up shortly after we stopped living together (6 girls in one house is too much for more than one year!) and now she is getting married to a guy who looks a lot like the first guy. Two differences: 1) I think #2 is a jerk and I liked old guy and 2) he's got a lot of money. I don't think she is marrying him b/c of the money; I do believe she loves him. I just think it is easier for her to love him b/c they don't have to worry about the money issue. Which frankly worries me for their future.
