I said Tonks/Remus, but I was tempted to put Hagrid/Olympe, because I think they're cute too. hehe I think my favourite coupling goes in this order: 1. Dumbldore/McGonagall 2. Remus/Nymphadora 3. Hargrid/Madame Maxime As for the talking thing... I used to be those shy anti-social kids, and didn't like to speak up. I still get nervous, but not so much anymore. All my teacher do end up knowing me before the end of the quarter though, usually as the "over acheiver". Do you know how embarrasing it is when your own TEACHER calls you a nerd? The whole teacher nerd thing happened yesterday, on Thursday. Not that I take offense or anything, but seriosuly.... a TEACHER, referring to ME, a student, as a nerd? |

I'd read that one a few days ago, and I can't wait for the next update! I like the Hagrid/Madame Maxime pairing. I hope Madame Rowling will expand on their relationship a bit more in the 7th book.

Hmm ... Lily/James is a really big one for me, there's something about it. But I had to vote Remus/Sirius, because that's my other OTP. Yeah, meet the Marauders Fangirl!! But I love Minerva/Albus, obviously, Remus/Tonks, Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, Katie/Oliver, Bill/Fleur, Severus/Lily ... yikes, the list is endless. Although I will always be a Lily/James shipper at heart!

I adore Tom/Minerva - there's just something fascinating about it. I like quite odd ships. Fred/Minerva (aww ... sorry, had a moment there), Harry/Bellatrix (though the novelty is wearing off - I'll hate it in a month), Remus/Minerva, and my all-time (vying for top-spot along with Remus/Minerva) favourite ... is Remus/Bellatrix. The two fics I've read of those two are so wonderful I fell in love immediately.

I chose the I ship evreything option because, although I don't, I do like quite unusual ships and like to put really different characters together. I really love Dumbledore/Snape at the moment (don't hate me) but I love Snape/Bellatrix, Snucius and Snupin as well. I read a really wonderful Molly/Narcissa once and I've written one as well so I pretty much love that pairing.
I adore Tom/Minerva as well, I think if the author can write it really convincingly then it's amazing because they're such different characters, but I really hate it if either of them are OOC. Also, if you can keep her in character, I love it when Minerva was once a supporter of Grindelwald and turns against him like Snape does against Voldermort. I also love minerva shipped with any of the Black sisters, or any of the Black sisters shipped together (again, don't hate me.)
I do quite like OCs when they're shipped with Snape, but I do like my OCs evil. And I also love any of the Death Eaters shipped together in an angsty abusive kind of way. But yeah, I like my angst, and I'm generally messed up so I do like rather odd pairings.

Ummm ... no I agree with you (Blue) on that one. I can't say I'm that fond of any 'canon' relationships, they are quite boring. And I'm so happy you agree with me about Tom/Minerva, they're just brilliant. I did think there would be something about it in the seventh book to be honest, what with JKR defining Minerva's age and the fairly 'OMG' thing about her being at school with him. I lived in such hope ...
As for odd pairings, to be a complete self-advertiser, I'm posting a fic soon which is Minerva/OC set though GOF. He's creepy. It was up before but I've completely re-done it and now it's even more twisted. lol. I question my own sanity at times, I really do.

Ooh, I adore Tom/Minerva as well. . . it's the OMGevilGUY with Dumbledore's most avid supporter that drew me to it. It's so difficult finding good fics about them, though. I read such a brilliant one that was linked on Fictionalley and then lost it  |

Although I'm not a Minerva/Tom fan I did just write a one-shot alluding to it ("I could never hate you" in "ADMM-related fics". But it was already over and MM had seen his true colours, if a bit belatedly.
I've read a few Snape/Minerva fics I've liked, though it's not something I could ever write myself.

The only other ship I could get really excited about is ADGG--I'm generally not into slash per se, but that one's virtually canon after DH! (Alas, much more so than ADMM...) And I don't think it has to contradict ADMM, b/c I can see AD as definitely being truly bi-, or that ADGG was more adolescent experimentation and intellectual fascination and the frustration of his being cooped up that summer than true orientation, and that he's really more straight.

Maybe AD just has a thing for folks w/ matched initials <g>....GG, MM....which would also give some support to ADSS <vbg> or maybe ADPP (which I've never seen though I'm sure it must be out there--love in the examining rooms :-)....or ADFF (poor Pomona--she'd lose her fanon charmer to her boss!) or ADBillWeasley (William, thus WW...) (Yes, I'm being silly w/ almost all of these....) or, worst of all, ADPeterPettigrew--that one being the least likely of all. Except for ADLL, which, if she'd been an adult, could have even been more of a possibility than ADPeterPettigrew!
I knew Jo was fond of alliteration in her names but I hadn't realized quite HOW fond til I started making this list....sheesh!

But since I would never ever read a James/Lily fic so I can't tell which ship is more common. I guess it's James/Lily because before book 7 people used to say WTF when asked about Snape/Lily. |

I never knew most people thought Snape/Lily was a WTF?Pairing, I always thought it was quite an obvious one, but if you think about it it makes Snarry really quite gross.
