I can go back and forth on my answer, depending on the day, but I think, if I were truly honest with myself, I would say that the answer is, "Yes-of course he does"... I don't know... Something to do with his cunning, Slytherin like tendencies. Cuz you gotta admit, Dumbledore is the ultimate mind manipulator, even if he is a Gryffindor. I feel he had the same thing that Harry did. I think the sorting hat wanted to place him into Slytherin, but he chose Gryffindor. So since he is such a mind manipulator, I could see him having the glasses for a different reason. ~mmadlyinlove~

It's to lure people off guard so he can send his minons after them and no one will suspect it was him. No one suspects an old man with glasses. Old men, yes, but not old men with glasses.

He is way old, but I have always been a sucker for a guy in glasses, so I can see that point as well. My friends all made fun of me when I feel for Adam because he doesn't wear glasses, so it was funny when I found out he wore them from the time he was a little baby until 3rd grade or so. I'm still a sucker for a guy who wore glasses. lol |

I know. It seems all the guys I've ever had crushes had glasses... And yet the only bf I've ever had doesn't wear them... Answer that one? Maybe that's why it didn't work out, cuz he didn't have glasses. LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

He wears them because he has too! I should know, I wear glasses, and they're a pain in the butt! Literally actually; I got a new, groovy pair a couple of years ago, took them off to pull on a jumper, then couldn't see to find the f**kers! Found them when I sat down... luckily they bent back into shape allright.

Everyone knows his glasses can see though things, why else would he look over them most of the time and through them at others.
