Hi! The "Relationship Stage" poll made me think of this poll question. What stage of their relationship do you prefer to read about in fanfiction?
"Established" can mean married or unmarried; it's up to you how you interpret it. Some of them are not so much "relationship stages" as "non-relationship stages," and I don't think they'll be popular, but I put them in, anyway! ;D

Mutual feelings acknowledged, but no relationship = ANGST = my happiness!!!
I am so evil...lol
For Albus and Minerva's situation, this is more practical. (It also reminds me of my fav BSG ship (Bill/Laura), which is this exactly). But mainly, I just love the angstiness of them knowing how one another feels but not being able to be together.

*pops open top of fluff tank, after running both Min and Pops down*
I put feelings just acknowledged, acted on passionately, but really I don't even need the acted on passionately part. I love fics where they get together. That is true of any genre and couple though, not just ADMM.

*Glares at Mona...While helping Min up*
Why did you run me down?...I hadn't even said anything yet...lol
But for that...I put Mutual feelings acknowledged, no relationship. Angsty fics are still my favourite. Although a well written fluffy piece *looks expectantly at Mona* is nearly as good.

Confession time: I'm torn between "Budding, tentative relationship" and "Feelings just acknowledged, acted on passionately," but voted for "Acted on passionately" -- I love lots of love and UST that explode passionately! The "budding, tentative relationship" can be very cute and fluffy, though! *grin* I used to like angsty ones more than I do now, but I only like angsty ones where there's either a fluffy & happy or passionate & happy ending. And you can't always tell whether that's going to be the case or not when you start reading a story. (Does that give hope to readers of RaM who fear that AD & MM aren't ever going to get together? ) BTW, shameless self-promotion time here: check out "Circadian Rhythm" in "Fics-which-are-somewhat-ADMM-related" -- there's some nice MMADness there, but plenty of other characters, including Filius, Pomona, Severus, Hermione, Poppy, Arabella, and others! They're drabbles, so they are very fast reads! (I have to put two of them in the Lemons forum, though, 'cause of the citrus content! ;D) There's fluff, angst, humor, drama, romance, and (in the Lemons section) PWP!

I like it when they have had a relationship for over 35 years but I also like it when they have young kids.

I hope that they've been together for at least 35 years, but I like the young/older kids as well.

I love so many of them... but since I love, and I mean LOVE sad things... it is the relationship being very complicated. Things getting in the way. It doesnt work out, things are good for a while, and all that stuff. One of my favorite fics was Minerva having a kid. Min gave the child to her sister to take care of and they are all killed by Voldemore. Then Min has to tell the child that she is really her mom. Albus and Min start a relationship, but then Min leaves Hogwarts and Albus. It was so heart renching but I loved it. I know that most people hate that, but sometimes that is how love goes.

I love everything but when their feelings are one-sided or when their relashionship is kaput... but what I like the most is when they THINK their feelings are one-sided but they aren't and they cry, are sad,... and in the end either one die just after they have told each other their feelings and kissed (once ;D) or HAPPY ENDING, early stages of anew relationship, blushing, romance,.... (and I say I'm not romantic...)
