Okay, what do you all say? HEhe... I couldn't chose which one I liked best and I wrote them. Hahahha. So I went with option sixteen... Although, number nine DOES have it's appeal... Hahaha. ~mmadlyinlove~

I voted for 'Chapter one, book one'. Not for the same reasons though. When I read that first chapter it did not occur to me, even in the slightest, that they were married. Unless, 'Professor' is a pet name of Minerva's.
Just for the record, I haven't read chapter one of book one for a while, but I did watch the movie last night. So, yes...
In case he does actually call her Minerva, than I have lost my Professor = pet name joke. That will suck. But even then, I don't remember thinking something on the lines of "OMG, they are so together" when I read that part.

I voted for chapter one, book one. I knew when I first read it as a nine year old, it just took me 6 years to really recognise it. It's obviously just taking JKR longer.

I was an ADMMer before I even knew it. First time I read that book I thought they were SO cute. The movie just sealed it for me.
Also I would like to add this is NOT thread to read while you're babysitting your four month old baby cousin who is sleeping... (I was cracking up half way though reading the choices)

I went for "Have you ever seen the movies" because, I have to admit, Chapter one, Book one, is really something that pushes me into the opposite direction!!! I just read it again...they address each other so formally. Well, I am not a native speaker, maybe I don't get it  , but so far I can only explain that to myself with the help of some beautiful fics out there, in which the reasons for this strange "Professor" here and "Headmaster" there  are explained by the fact, that they just now reunite after a major row.... |

Hmm, you guys have given me something to think about ... I voted for Chapter one, book one ... but they do address each other formally ....

But I always thought that was because they expected Hagrid to pop up any moment and couldn't really go on calling each other, 'sweetiepie' and 'darling' in front of him ... ;D
Maybe, it's just my desperate MMAD mind ...

I voted for 'b/c Maggie Smith says so," but I really think the best evidence is in OotP"He will not be alone!" when Albus is about to skedaddle from Fudge, Umbridge et al. That, and the confusion about what each was doing when they find Colin Creevey petrified in CoS are the two big clues to me. In a distant third place is Minerva's behavior in HBP when the unspeakable thing happens.

Chapter one of book one was just the two of them (plus Hagrid and baby Harry, but we'll just ignore them for the time being). That chapter was the chapter that made me ship them.
