I just thought it would be interesting to see what you guys like in terms of format of fanfiction for Albus/Minerva. Personally, I love lengthy one-shots, but occasionally a chapter fic such as One Dance At A Time or Flames by Hogwarts Duo, will completely blow me away. And of course RaM...enough said. Anyway, tell me what you think. Thanks.

"Short" one shots. I don't know why I prefer those, though, because I can read tons of long books and be perfectly fine.. However, chapter fics and really long one shots are just not my thing, usually. It takes a special fic for me to want to read ones that are long. So, if you ever wanted to know why I don't write longer fics and/or chapter fics (not that you care, I'm sure..), I'm just not into length. Give me a shorter story that says a lot and means a lot, and you've got me hooked.

It depends on who the author is for me. For Cranky Caudron I would read a 200 000 words epic and ditto for authors such as Taliath, Veruka and Dicere. Others such as DubhCleite, Morrighan, Rachey, Chaotic Demon and Kirjava Deamon write incredile oneshots that send a shiver down your spine.

Hmm... It depends for me. If there is a nice plot line, I don't care. But currently, I like reading chapter fics.

I like slightly shorter chapter fics, fics that are just long enough to be involved, but not too long as to be rambling. If the author is good then I will read a longer fic, but I do have quite a short attention span and don't very often.

It really depends. I would read RaM forever if I could! (Hint hint ) And with others I love allsorts of things. I love long one-shots, drabbles and long(ish) chapter fics. It depends who's writing it, the plot and the genre for me. Angst I can only cope with drabbles and short oneshots. Fluff becomes overbearing for even me in chapter form, unless it's a romance or just a fluffy ending. Hmm. It depends.

The lengthy one-shots work best for me. I think there's enough in 2500 words for a great plot and even better characterization, and I've seen it done well a hundred times more than in any other category of fic length. Like a short story, I can read it in one sitting, too.

I put that it depends on the author cuz there's not really a length, just as long as it's from a good author, is MMAD, and has an interesting summary. I mean, interesting to me anyway. ~mmadlyinlove~

The longer the better but I'll read anything.
