Hm, "I can't take my eyes off you baby" would be great. But how about "Bed of roses" by Bon Jovi? Hugs, Rikki P.S. Can't wait to read your story for whatever song you opt.

Well, I'm sorry, but I can't see him sing any pop songs. We know that he loves chamber music - and I've rarely met someone who's in chamber music and in the same time so good in pop songs that he would know the lyrics by heart.
If I'd have to choice a song for him, I'd take something like "Greensleeves" or one of the great Schumann - Schubert - Strauss love songs.
Yours Max

Hehehe, well Max, it *is* possible, you know ;D... I personally am into Mozart, Vivaldi, Evanescence and Ella Fitzgerald, all at the same time. Then again I'm probably just weird ;D.
Love,
Liz

Well, maybe you're weird but we like you that way. ;D But I agree, it's really possible to like classic music and pop music at the same time... And since Albus is around young people all the time I'm sure he knows some pop music... Hugs, Rikki

Darling Liz, Hehehe, well Max, it *is* possible, you know ;D... I personally am into Mozart, Vivaldi, Evanescence and Ella Fitzgerald, all at the same time. Then again I'm probably just weird ;D. I think I love you "weird" as you are. But for the subject: I love Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Bruckner, Schumann - and on my hard disk is a collection of around seven hours of pop songs (no, Christy, it isn't only Harris!) like Dionne Warwick's "That's what friends are for" and Celine Dion's rather kitschy, but lovely songs. Nevertheless: I even don't know my favourite Harris' songs by heart. Yet I know a few Bach arias ("If you want to give me your heart, start it secretly" or the Christmas Oratorium I really know by heart) and I don't need a text book for Schumann's "Dedication" (I only couldn't do a proper translation and because I didn't find the CD with the English inlet as I wrote the scene in the "Comedy", Minerva got a Strauss song). And ... yes, Albus is all the time around young people. But CD players don't work at Hogwarts! And we never heard something about the Wizard's Wireless there, so I don't think he gets to hear much modern music at Hogwarts. ;-) Yours Max

Well, usually it takes me only a couple of times of listening to my favourite songs to know the lyrics. ;D
Of course I know that cd players don't work at Hogwarts but I just can't imagine that the youngsters live without any music around them... Just seems weird...

I know that he wouldnt usually sing a pop song but I just wanted to play about with the idea of him singing a silly song to Minerva...you never know he might have heard it when he was around muggles
