Alrighty I'm having trouble uploading a story to FF.net. I don't understand how to put a story up! Its says something about a file on my computer that I need to find. I guess... really I don't know what its talking about. So if you post stories on FF.net can you tell me how you did it? In need of help, Riku

I'm having the same trouble, and I have done it before. It won't let me upload. I am doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. I agree, Help!

Same here. I really don't understand why though. It stinks when the person you write with is harrasing you because you can't put it on. ^_^

You have to save the file on your computer through like Microsoft Word first. If you're doing that and uploading it that way and still having troubles, maybe it's something wrong with their system.

FF.net is easy once you understand what you need to do. I just don't like it when they go days without working. LOL! ~mmadlyinlove~

Guide to Uploading on FF.Net for Idiots (not that I'm calling anyone here an idiot!)
1: When you write out the story/chapter, you do it in MS Word, or Notepad, or Wordpad, etc first, then save it onto your computer.
2: When you go to "Documents" in your account, click on "Browse" at the bottom. A little window will appear showing your folders on your computer. Select the story/chapter saved there and click "Open".
3: Type in the document label and click "Upload". The document's information will apear at the top. Click on "Edit/Preview" to check all the spelling, formatting etc is OK and then save it if you've made any changes.
4: Go to "Stories", then to "Guidelines" and read through and click the aceptance option at the bottom. Then go to "New Story".
5: Fill in the info, and when you've done everything click OK!
If anyone needs it, I could do the instructions again with screenshots.
It's really very quick and easy once you get the hang of it. I find it the easiest site to post on and have a grand total of 29 fics archived there.
