I'm having some issues posting on FF.net... I uploaded a document in the appropriate place, created a story, did all that 'picking the category' and 'genres' stuff, and when I click on the button to show stories I've written, it's there. When I search for it in the archives, however, it isn't listed. Can any of you help me out here? Thanks  |

ff.net does that occassionally. I've had th same problem. Generally it will sort itself out in a day or two.

I think you'll have to wait about a day before it appears on the rest of the site. It's the same when you post chapters. I think that's the problem.

I've never had that problem with chapters. Only with new stories.

I'm actually having problems with ff.net at the moment. Nothing as serious, but I've posted a new chapter and a new story, and usually I receive email notifications for both of them, but I haven't received any - and I suspect that neither have the people reading my fic.
A little annoying, as I was curious as to what people thought of the chapter!

so it's back to that again, huh? I think they just get bogged down with so many people...I'm not sure if I'm missing any review alerts, but I might have missed some review replys. Ah well  |

I'm not getting any alerts for stories I know have been updated again either. I guess we just have to wait until its fixed.

I know! It's really starting to bug me. I have to actually GO TO the ff.net site to check for reviews, which is annoying as that leaves a history which my annoyingly computer literate mother can find. Grrr....

oh you poor thing! I wish your mom could just leave you alone about the fanfiction...I'm sure that in a few days ff.net will post a message about how their servers crashed or something and the site functions were slowed down for awhile; it happens.
