Okay, I have a very long fic that I was about mid-way through and then decided that it was badly written and I could not see where the bloody hell it was going so I took it down and have been re-writing it.
It's a complicated story and involves one Harry Potter going back in time to stop Voldemort from ever rising. Sounds simple, but he meets my favourite Transfigurations Mistress and finds his original task a little difficult (insert *aww* moment.)
My problem is that I am completely stuck and despite having an outline (a miracle indeed) I just can't seem to kick-start it. I've only got 2500 words written and to my mind it doesn't flow.
Dumbledore isn't evil in this one, so none of you will have to worry about that, though there is a side-story about he and Minerva's mother (no, Minerva isn't his child - if it's one plotline I'm sick of, it's that one) but that's nothing. He's quite nice really (even I like him.)
If anyone would be able to give it a quick read and tell me what you think and then be able to rebound ideas off, that would be brilliant. I normally can with a mate of mine, but she's having computer issues and that tends to leave me glaring at the computer screen.
It's rather dark (well, it will be) and chapter titles and are from Dante's 'Divine Comedy' for the most part. Chapter three (the one I'm stuck on) revolves around Tom, Minerva and Harry. The Bloody Baron and the Grey Lady will also play a part. Nothing is taken from 'Deathly Hallows'. It's is AU from sixth year.
