I wanted to let everyone know how much I've enjoyed this board and the members. Lies and April are awesome and I've gained many friends. Thanks for the wonderful stories and the not so wonderful ones too. I hope everyone keeps writing and posting. AD/MM forever! Karlie

I have to agree, the people around here are really special. It's amazing how people of all different ages and walks of life from all over the world can meet together in fandom and feel like an extended family. I've made some of the best friends in my life here and I'll never forget it. Thanks so much to everyone who has been supportive lately.

The board is definitely home and I feel at ease as soon as I log on. I'm grateful to have had the chance to compete against Karlie at challenges and to read a lemon or two from her and others.

Man, there are so many good things I can say about the people on this board. You guys make me feel so at home, and I can all ways get a good laugh out of the stories and comments you people post! I may not talk to any of you but I know when I come on here I am around peole that I share the same intersts with and I can understand some of their experiances. It is so true. I love reading the stories and I wasn't a shipper at first. Romance isn't my first genre of choice so I was a bit skeptical at first but I was quickly won over once I started reading the stories here. I like the support that the authors are generally given. I admit that reviews that are overly critical wrecks havoc on me although its the only way you learn from your mistakes. I don't mind it here though although criticisms over creative differences are so inappropriate. I am glad Karlie and Krys convinced me to register and I hope to eventually write an actual story (with chapters  ) Kacie |

I have to chime in with my two cents. I look forward to looking up stories on the board. This is the first site I've ever registered for and I don't regret it at all. I am thrilled that everyone has been so kind to Karlie and made it a positive experience for her. Now, we only need give everyone a "K" name so everyone will feel like they are part of my family since we already feel a part of yours. Krys

I find it hard to find a good site (esp Albus and Minerva one )where either its a Rp, forum or any other site. But this one is a totally awsome, i love the site so much definatly one of my favourites |

I have to agree with all of you. A 'fanfic' saved my sanity in a sense... It wasn't this one but after my husband died I was completely lost. All I did was work and sleep (not unusual I'm told) then I ran across a seaQuest fic and remembered how much I had loved the show. Gradually I began to try my own hand at writing (always happy endings) and meet some really great people. I moved into other fics and along the way I rediscovered my joy of writing, something I had done a lot of as a teenager.
While I don't really write for any one elses approval I find that it is nice to read positive comments. I don't mind critisicm either as long as it is somewhat constructive.
You've all been so friendly and welcoming. Having gotten to know Karlie over the last few months I'd gladly accept a 'K' name. Thanks to all of you!

This is such a sweet thread . I am so glad you all enjoy the board so much- when April and I founded it, now nearly a year ago (July 27th is the day, dears  ), I think neither of us expected to get so many members... or earn such a great group of friends through it. I for one know that I wouldn't want to miss quite a few people I met through this board for anything in the world. Thanks to all of you for being here. It's you all who made this board. Love, Lies |

I sometimes still can't believe how much this board has grown. I just thought it would be a little place where a small number of AD/MM authors from FF.net and the Yahoo Group could place their stories and not worry about being booted out because the word "nipple" came up in the same sentence as Albus and Minerva. I'm glad that so many people have come to our board and I've made a lot of great friends, especially you, Karlie. :-)
I hope that we will continue to be, not just a place to read and post AD/MM fics, but a place where you can meet new people and hang out with those who are just as obsessed with Harry Potter as you are.

I have had a wonderful time too! I'd just like to thank everyone who has written fanfics here and on ff.net because they are all great. Stories like these have helped me through the good times, the bad times, and those few in between. My school just let out for summer when I found this so I'm in 'that' mood- if you know what I mean. I thought you might want to see a picture of Karlie. We don't have a scanner here so its a bit blurry.
She's standing with Kammie's husband Jim and I am assuming that Alex is taking the picture. Karlie was camera-shy so its hard to find anything recent.
This was taken last summer probably in Ireland, possibly in Germany. No clue.

Hey that's a really nice picture. I'm so glad that there's a place to read about my favourite couple and the people her are really great people. I really love the stories that are here and I first read a AD/MM fan fic on FF.net and when I found out there was a site that's all on Minerva and Albus together I was really happy and then I found that people here are really nice and positive people. I've known her for her entire life and I have to say she is quick to cheer you up. She's always been beautiful to us. I feel like my degree is partly hers since her encouragement and help got me through all my math classes not to mention chemistry. My time on the board has grown as time passes and I am beginning to get the itch to write. I hear that's how it all starts.  |

Thank you for sharing such a picture with us. It is lovely to put a face to the name and the stories. She is a beautiful person inside and out.
I can't believe this board is nearly a year old now. I do feel that in a way, we are like one big family type unit. I know that sounds a tad silly but through this and AD/MM fan fiction, I have made friends such as Ang, Lies, Kaylee, Cammie, Karlie, Rikki and the list does go on. It is a great place to come and lose yourself. Where your imagination is able to run free.

I am the newest member here and I do not know many of you.  I was mostly on fanfiction.com.You know, watching you. The only ones I know are Quill of Minerva who is my beta and Always Hopeful that is about it. I was fortunate to know a few people when I joined since they were related to me but I felt welcomed and just tried to jump in and get my feet wet. I think you have a better experience when you review and began to speak with the writers.
Also posting questions and/or answers on the general board. Just step right in and speak up and welcome aboard. I think you'll find a home here.
