I'm in the middle of mine as we speak. I only have one more until glorious freedom!!! TO relax, as awful as it sounds, I stop studying. If you just put the book away for ten minutes and go for a quick walk or just do some dishes, it really does help. If that doesn't work, I put on some music and zone out. I don't retain anything if I'm worried about it. I hope that helps, and if not, there's always cookie dough ice cream

Aww, exams's tough! Well, as all the other wise people before me have stated, study of course, but also find time to relax, and for some precious moments, forget everything connected to your bloody exams - excuse my language ;D
Do something different, varying between all your reading, so you don't end up, for examble reading about math the whole day... =)
Good luck,
Pal

Hehehe EEEEEEEKKKK!!! I finished my finals on friday...so you can probably tell i'm just a little bit happy about it!! And now I never have to sit another exam in my life!! Only 4weeks and i find out if I actually be a practicing radiographer (X-ray tech) but quite frankly, I don't care now cause the exams are done and thats the most important bit!!!
As for stress relieving tips, seriorsly, don't stress about them cause it really isn't the be all and end all. Take your time, make sure you have plenty of breaks when revising and if your going no-where stop for the day cause there is no point carrying on studing if all your doing is getting a nasty headache. After 6 continouos years of exams and 16 years in education....thats the best I can offer but just remember while it all seems so dramatic at the time, really once there over and done with you'll wonder what al the fuss is about. And most importantly, once you've finished each exam, forget about it...once its done its done and there's no point worrying about something you can't change.
Hope this helps...sorry for it being an essay, but its all very very fresh in my now alcohol soaked mind.
Tabby.
P.S if you ever want to chat over things, give me a shout, my AIM and MSN details are on display.

Good luck to everyone still taking them!

Thank you again for all the tips and such .. I must say that I ended up taking walks while listening to music and it ended up working .. I also went and got a facial one afternoon at the mall right near my house .. and that definately worked! .. Good luck to anyone who is still writing exams!

I am going to my christmas exams soon...do you know what my teacher said to us when we asked why they were so early? 9th grade is hell, and you just have to deal with it.
You see, I am in the most cleaver class, our math teaher says we are work faster than her, and becouse of that we take all exams, a week or so before everyone else. And all this is to make us prepared for the BIG TEST which we go in to go to the next school..
Elísabet, who has been studying for tests since August, 4 on a week people!

exams...ugh...thankfully, teachers at my school are not allowed to give "midterms" unless the class is only one semester because when they did they got so many complaints from parents as students had homework and studying during christmas, and homework at UA is equal to an average of 5+ hours on a good night. Some alumnae said college was easier.

Hehe, thankfully, I don't have exams yet. I'm only in eigth grade, so next year I'll have to take them. But I did have a math exam, I've had those since 6th grade, like one after the end of each trimester. But I always do bad on those. So i'll really have to study hard for the ones in high school...

My exams start in a couple of weeks, and I am rather nervous already. I have to prepare a scene from Everyman with two partners in Theater History, in a ddition to having an essay and a regular written exam, we have to do these huge proposal things in Performance Art, there is already two papers, a final project and an exam coming up very soon in Stess Management (my toughest class by far), I have two more scripts due in Scriptwriting, and three tests in Modern Dance, one on technique, one on the routine we're learning on Monday and Wednesday of next week, and one on the dance we have to choreograph and perform in front of everyone in groups of three... I also need two more news stories and two pictures, plus a review, for my Newspaper Practicum.
If this is what it's like to be a junior in college, I am not sure that I wish to progress to senior year!

Everyman rules! I was Sorrow in it... and messed up my role once when we performed in a church. I had to carry a large wooden cross because my lines referred to it and I left it among the audience's seats and couldn't get it before I was due on stage. The supervising teacher almost fainted when she saw me enter without it. But I changed the lines referring to it and got away with a huge compliment.
Your schedule does sound busy btw... Promise to get some sleep in between... that's what keeps me sane with the thesis and everything else.

I only have 3 days left at school, so hopefully lots of time to kill writing fior once. But mock exams 4 weeks after I go back. Then just GCSE's to look forward to...
