The Phantom of the Opera

A few years ago I watch the Phantom when I was staying with my niece. I loved the movie and cried so much when the phantom died.

She told me there is coming a new Phantom of the Opera and it looks great. I don't know if any of you like such kind of movies but I wanted to share it with you all.

Depends on what is important to you I guess. The music is not as good as the stage soundtrack but the movie is visually stunning. You should be able to get it on DVD now. We watched it last weekend.

I have it on DVD, and its being gathering dust in my bookshelve for nearly half a year now... Ups... So, I haven't seen it, yet, but some day I will... =)

I saw the Broadway production of Phantom years ago and I loved it. The music is fantastic. I haven't seen the new movie, though my friend said that the opening sequence with the chandelier is really cool. Nothing beats the original cast recording. I love Michael Crawford's Phantom....though when Hugh Jackman started singing "Music of the Night" on SNL, I nearly melted through the floor. *dreamy sigh*
