Hello everybody! I am very interested in IQ's and such. People at my school say I am smart so I decided to take the Tickle.com Super IQ test. I was wondering if anyone else would like to take it and post their IQ. I am not here to judge anybody at how smart they are or anything.. I am just curious! I will tell you what my IQ is: 113. I took it and I am a Concrete Thinker which means I am grounded in a clear understanding of what is happening around me. In situations where others are confused, things are crystal clear to me. I have an unusual combination of strong verbal and numerical skills. I am able to solve equations and then use my verbal skills to explain those solutions to others. Here is a IQ ranking chart: Average 85 - 115 Above average 115 - 125 Gifted 125 - 135 Highly gifted 135 - 145 Genius 145 - 155 Genius 156 - 165 High genius 166 - 180 Highest genius 181 - 200 As you can see, I am about average. But, the variable here is how old you are. I am only 14. I haven't yet found a chart on ages or anything. I got 120. and i am a analytic detective, which is true as I am pretty good in math.

147 with a migraine and I am an Original Thinker. Hmm this proves I am a bit of a mad genius 6 in 1000 with these abilities aint too shabby.

Gosh.. when I went and reread what I wrote.. I kind of sound like my science teacher!! hahah. That is funny. I wonder what my IQ will be in like.. 10 years?? It's crazy now tho cuz everyone says that I have an "overly talented" mind.. which is North Dakotain for "being super smart" I dont think I am smart but that is what they say.. crazy huh?

I can't access tickle.com, b/c I'm at work and it's a "forbidden site" so I tried another site's "fere" IQ test, but when I reached the end it told me I can access my answers for ten dollars! So the test is free, but the answers are not.  AL |

Wow. I just took a "five minute IQ test" on another site, and it says I have an IQ of 19. Is that even functioning? Weird, considering how high my SAT scores were...and my CAPT test scores... (higher than 97% of American students my age in the writing portion... a high moment of my life...lol. But only higher than 60% of my peers in science) haha. Maybe because it's a "five minute" test and due to the fact I am taking it at work, answering phones, dealing with people andm aking copies, it took me like twenty minutes to complete it. Or maybe I am just really, really sssslllloooowwww. Ah well.  AL |

Glad I'm not the only 14-year-old. I got a 131... not too shabby. It said I'm a Creative Theorist, "you are able to process information of nearly every kind with ease, using both creativity and analysis to make sense of the world. Compared to others you also have a very rich imagination." That's different. Interesting thread. -Kathy |

I took an IQ test this week but will take this one too. The one I took wasn't very serious, Germans on the board will remember the "IQ test der Nation" or whatever its title was on RTL. I happened to take the same with a gentleman talking non-stop behind my back at the uni. Knowing that females are able to divide their attention, guess how mad I was because I did try to take the test seriously. The funny thing was that I took the test with a friend and our results were exactly the same: 126. LOL.

Was it the one with "Guenter Jauch"?
Than I took it too. Got 137. But Im not sure if that is really a test one can take seriouse. Guess its a bit "nice for publicity" or sth.
I donT think Id score that high on a serious serious test in a test centrum or at uni. should try that actually.
did anyone ever do a Test in RL?

Yeah, I'm thinking of the one with Günter Jauch. The guy behind me was explaining non-stop while I took the test, that this test doesn't qualify as a real one, since there are memory questions, questions about sayings etc. that don't have anything to do with your IQ. I could quote him for hours. Really, they should have issued extra points for remembering his speech while you took the test. LOL
RL real tests are the real deal, but I've never done one (but always wanted to).
Our younger members will be probably glad the learn that the very same guy also explained how you can't measure IQ until you're 18 or so, because you are improving until that. So anything you get until then isn't valid. (Although a 131-ish result is something you don't need to hide.)

I took a test a few weeks ago, just for fun and it turned out I have an iQ of 132. That was a shocker, because the test I took before that I had an iQ of 124. It also said i am a 'word wizard' and that I suck at logics. Well, that I can believe;)
I know that if you take a test in the morning or the afternoon, the outcome will be different. In the morning you are 'cleverer' than in the afternoon, let alone the evening!
I love these tests and am off to take an social and a spiritual Q test!!! Laterz!!!

Well, just to say it again: I am not Rea's mother (imagine, me beinga mother, tee-hee) I did however took a few little tests, don't y'all love the Net? and came out with a few new insightful results:
EQ - Emotional Intelligence. The test says mine is 60. The top-score would be 150. My mom saying I am anti-social is probably correct then.
My greatest fear is pain. Well, I could have told them that!
I did this Enneagram - but it is in Dutch and is says I am a 'levensgenieter', with means as much: someone who enjoys the good things in life.
Well, I am off, yet again, but not to do any tests!!!

I did the tickle.com test too now and got 131 at it.
Apparently I'm a "Visual Mathematician", which would actually suit I guess.
i had a big lack at the linguistic part though, but that I knew before too;)
That's why I read more than I write ;D

I feel just a wee bit unintelligent. *sigh* maybe I should post my score but then again This is anonymous so no one will know ahahahha. Well anyways I got 103...sad eh?
and I'm a Intuitive Interpreter :This means you are a highly conceptual thinker. Rather than focusing on facts and figures, you look at the big picture. You are less inclined to need to walk through something step by step to understand the logic behind it. This also lets you make connections between something you learned three weeks ago and something you are learning today. While other people need those types of connections pointed out for them, you just naturally make them.
I guess that's okay but then again I still have a lot to learn and after all I'm still in high school so I will take the test again in 1 or 2 years and see my results ehehhehe I hope I make an improvement.

Ok, I'm not pondering who you are, of course But 103 is really no shame. 80 might be one, but 103 is still about average. And apart from that seeing the big picture is something I lack compleetely, so you have high changes to rule me out Also youre right, try again in 1 or 2 years, one cant be sure if those tests are acurate anyway. And most important, you seem nice, so whatever! |

Right... In all honesty, we are not a big fan of IQ tests. Most of them aren't accurate. If you want to do a real IQ test you have to go to an established institute. Apart from that, an IQ is not something that is written in stone. An IQ can chance over the years, both in positive and negative ways. Also, your IQ is only a small part of your intelligence. So many other things are equally important as well. For instance: your EQ (social skills), your goals, your dedication to what your trying to accomplish etc. All we're saying is, don't take the results of these test too seriously. They're fun to do (quizzes always are) but they're hardly rooted in science. And also: please be careful. This thread has the potential of becoming hurtful to other people. Crud.. I should have said that before.. I am not here to judge anyone. I remember I asked my science teacher what her IQ was and she just blew up at me saying that your IQ is a personal thing. Please everyone, don't make fun of anyone for getting an IQ different than yours. I just wanted to see the results and average them out after this is all through.. *science geek!* I'm not saying that this test is accurate or not, If you wanted to go and get your *real* IQ, you should go to a licensed institute. This is all for fun and games people so don't be judgmental. We all have lives to live and I am pretty sure I dont want to sit here and read about everyone making fun of my IQ. I will never ever write anything bad about anyone on this site, even if I wanted to. I'm also pretty sure that none of you would. We are all respectful people and just want to have fun! I do! So let's party and have fun with it, huh? PARRTAAYY!!

Oh, also. My friends took the test.. and they got pretty good numbers, but I also told them numbers aren't important. They gave me permission to post their IQ's on here, but to not use their names: Friend #1 got 95; Friend #2 got 93; and friend #3 got a 92! So don't feel bad because you got a *low* number. I know my friends are way way way smarter than that. They didnt make a big deal of it so you shouldn't either. Don't worry. Not everyone will get the same number!! Have fun and take care!

Heh, I'm 13 and I got a 95...I'm average I guess, lol....I'm in all regular classes, except for math, im in the most advanced class....Im not good at those tests or those standardized tests....so yeah, I dunno, but I don't really care now, I'm only in 8th grade. |

I scored 133. In 8th grade, my Humanities teacher had us all take an IQ test on iqtest.com, and I crazily scored a 170. As somebody said, IQ isn't your entire intelligence. In fact, IQ isn't a measure of how smart you are. It measures "potential plus knowledge," which I interpreted as "how much you can learn." And I am a "Creative Theorist."
