Oh I can’t believe this! (I’m still jumping about like a loon!) I got a letter this morning from this website I post my poetry on (Poetry.com). They want to publish my poem ‘Forsaken Tears’ in their new book ‘Eternal Portraits’. I get a whole page dedicated to my poem! And all my rights are reserved the poem is copyrighted under my name and I don’t have to pay a thing! They wrote me a really nice letter complimenting me and my poem and saying I should be proud. I still can’t believe it! I have to read through my poem on the sheet and correct any mistakes and then send it back but wow! I never thought this could happen! I’m bloody getting published a whole page for me wooooo! I entered the poem in a contest as well never once thinking anything would come of it now I’m a semi finalist as well as getting published. Karma finally paying off yay! Sorry about the insane ramblings I’m just so happy.  |

That's cool. I did the same thing about four years ago now, but I never ordered a copy of the poetry book. I just remember getting a semifinalist letter or something about getting it published in the book, but I don't think I ever took the time to do anything about it. Do you plan on getting a copy of the book? It would probably be something cool to have... you know, you're work in print!
