Well... After posting of ff.net, I realized why I like this board, aimed specially for true AD/MMers rather than a large, impersonal one. (If you don't enjoy a bit of a pity party.. Don't read...)
I got flamed for one of my stories, because of a "bad song choice" and a misspelled title. I know, you're probably like "oh, well, get used to it, even though they suck!" but... I don't like critisim very much, especially in the form of flames, and I don't like closed mindedness. I mean, here.. You guys accepted that Albus could possibly be abusive and took it in stride. There, I crashed and burned. They said that I musn't have read the books at all to have written such a thing... But isn't the purpose of a FANfiction to take a twist on the reality of the subject?? To add a deeper meaning to an untold story?
Sigh.. I know, I'm a bit confused and muddled, but I love my work, and I don't like to see it burned so. Just a little bit of a show of appreciation to those of you with open minds, and this board, for having a place where die-hard AD/MMers to bask in each other's rays.
