Wow, lots of flute players. I don't play the flute. I play the guitar, either acustic of electric, and I play some piano. I taught myself how to play a few of Beethoven's and a little Mozart.

I also play flute. I've been playing it sense sixth grade (so about almost five and a half years) and in Eighth grade I learned how to play the Baritone Saxaphone. I still play both, Flute strictly for Marching Band and the Sax for Jazz.

*raises hand* Resident non-musically talented. You'll have to share that title I am so hopeless musically.

Wow...lots of flute players. Sorry to disappoint, but I've happily played the violin for seven years. I actually started on the flute, and was terrible, then attempted percussion and couldn't do that either, so...violin it is. And a little cello. I'd love to learn piano too.

I´ve played the piano, but after 3years I hadn´t enough time for it. I´m taking singing lessons and Im going to two choirs. I´d like to start with playing the piano again!

boah... flute-invasion! What's up with flutes? I mean nothing against flutes, but in my school there are about 3 flutes in a music class of 20 people. I've been playing the piano for 9 years know and I play Djembé once a week with a few friends of mine... I also like to sing although I wouldn't recommend listening

Oh, I bet you both are great singers! I wonder... if it's really true? About the writing, arts, etc. part of the brain. Lots of us have played some instrument or sing, or so on, and we also write...? Hm.. Just a thought. Here, let me start a bit of a new twist to this::Does anyone else act? I love acting; it's fun! So... Any takers? ^_^ ---I'll include any sort of theatre as acting--for instance, being on stage crew. Stuff like that.

Kankulex 3 flutes is better than our band. We offically now only have a flute the other girl had to move. I'm the only flute left I'm so sad.

Kankulex 3 flutes is better than our band. We offically now only have a flute the other girl had to move. I'm the only flute left I'm so sad. I'm so sorry for your flute-loss. I bet you could persuade some flute-players from this board to join your band! If there wasn't that distance-problem But well, in my school we've got a big problem with stringed instruments.. we've got ONE player in our group... that's not really much... And Yes, I'm in a theatre crew... well at least in the theatre-music-crew in our school-theatre. We are a group of VERY strange people who compose and develop the music to the plays... and it's funny as hell

That's really awesome, kankulex! At our school, we have a costume-mistress, stage crew members, make-up crew members, and the actors. I include sound and lighting crew as stage crew.

Of course, we hardly need to add that the crew in its entirety includes shift, set construction, properties, lighting, sound, makeup, costume, and stage management... right, Kate? ;D kankulex, your theatre department sounds spiffy. I'm on the tech crew at our school (mostly shift, props, and lighting), and I love it rather passionately.

Ah! Another "I-belong-to-the-theatre"-person! YAY! I've to admit that theatre hast become quite important to me... It's sometimes a bit stressful but I NEVER regret joining.. It's just a wonderful small world in our wonderful small and crazy school and it's just fabulous... and believe it or not: most of the people LOVE Harry Potter

Wouldn't it be nice if I wasn't forced to play the flute for my grandpapa? He's old and loves the flute. I how ever try my best to play the koto... not as good as my mum though.

The violin is my main instrument, but I also play the viola and the piano (sort of). I played the flute in fourth grade but then quit...and have recently started trying to play it again. I really want to learn how to play the cello.

LoL! Strange people we have here. I act as well, and...well, I'm kinda good, ut not too terribly. I haven't done a play in eons.... My school doesn't have a Theatre department, but we have a Theatre company here in town. I mostly help with the technical stuff, like the wires and the sound equiptment because my dad worked with it all the time and I can fix ianything sound wise in a jiff.
