Hi everyone, Don't know who of you is gonna watch but I am. ;D Kind of like that thing, and I guess with our "Texas Lightning" we stand quite a good chance not to end up last... again. So, good luck everyone.

I haven't seen the song of Germany, but tonight is the night! ;D Unfortunately Belgium has lost, although I think Kate Ryan with Je t'adore wasn't that bad,was she?

She wasn't . Her act was rather clumsy and I didn't like that dress... but in comparison with some others, she was okay. Pity but well, I vote for Germany .

so, I´ve been watching it too yesterday, but it was kind of "disastrous" thinking of who won.

I watched all the singers but missed who actually won. I swear if the UK song got anywhere near the top, that song is ridiculous they sound like silly chipmunks really makes you wander what the people in the UK where on when they voted for that.
I really liked the last one (I can't remember what country it was) with the guy dancing with the woman tied up. Oh and the the gypsy orientated one with the woman in the red dress. Finland's one was rater.... interesting (they reminded me abit of Iron Maiden) Did anyone notice how many of the singers sounded like Shakira??
Anyone know who won???

The rather interesting act - Finland ... ;D When I heard that I was like OMG ... I have to admit I didn't really like their song ... And they looked just ridiculous .... And yes, you're right ... I haven't seen all of it, but I've noticed at least two or three that sounded like Shakira ...

Yeah, and looked like her too. Have to say that I rather liked the UK song. Way better than the Klingons from Finland. *hmpf* (sorry, if there's anyone from Finland here)

I thought the UK song was okay; it was quite catchy, even if I don't like rap that much.
"Orcs"! Hah! Lordi (the band) are the type for that sort of costume, but "Orcs", that's just the best...

I have to admit that I liked the Finland song. Most of the other songs sounded the same, as if they were all written by Ralf Siegel

.... Finland!!!! Ok I was quite sure that one was entered for comic value wow! (is no longer just wondering what the people in the UK take when voting it seems the whole world is doing the same thing) Oh well at least they chose something interesting and unique !!

Yeah, well... unique enough to make some conservatives petition to keep them out of the contest, apparently. Haven't seen the video going with the song but apparently they kill a group of cheerleaders in that one and revive them as zombies. *oops* But alas, authorities decided that the Orcs could enter the competition. *sigh* I mean, there were a lot of great songs... which were actually songs and not... that... noise. Sorry, folks.

I watched the Princes trust concert instead and must say i have a new respect for Charles and the boy's. Their interaction with eachother was so easy going and genuine and they all blantently want to do some good in the world, i was mighty impressed.
I did however see the last 25mins of eurovision and to be honest the Finn's song had me in stitches...esp those foot high platforms it was hilarious! And for a eurovision song i've heard worse...much worse...i'm not surprised they won.
