A junior at my school, Katy, was in a car accident this morning. Thankfully, her little sister (who is in my grade at school) was not with her as she was getting to school early. But Katy is currently in critical condition in the hospital. If y'all can, please keep her in your prayers as things are not looking so good.

thank you all so much!
Last night, our school chaplin, Father Deeves, led a rosary at a local church for Katy. I think the entire school showed up as we got there right before it was standing room only, and this church is BIG! But I quote Father Deeves in that, "We need a miracle." Apparently, each hour is a gift.

I regret to say that Katy Bolka died yesterday at 4 pm.
Whenever you are driving, check for people who might be running the red light. Katy was hit last tuesday on her drive to school by a 90 year old woman who ran the light. Tuesday was going to be Katy's first day as a senior at school.
