CHAPTER 13

Gary Winterbourne is a tall attractive man with light hair and sharp features. His outer appearance makes him seem like a perfectly ordinary business man. His eyes tell a different story his eyes are put simply pools of madness and distortion. Albus managed to survey all this with a simple glance in Gary’s direction. Gary was twisted, insane and dangerous.
“Minerva!” Gary snapped violently to the fair woman standing beside Albus. “Get away from him and come to me!” He growled through gritted teeth his eyes expanding and his thin lips turning into a warped scowl. Albus turned to face Minerva who was looking up at him with the most sadist and childlike eyes he had ever seen on a woman.
“MINERVA!” Gary growled heavily when she did not move. She turned to look at him but didn’t move any closer.
“You have her well trained.” Gary spat spitefully at Albus when Minerva didn’t come to him.
“She is not an animal!” Albus snapped violently. “She is a human with a mind of her own and a beautiful one at that! You and no other man have the right to try and change and train her!”
Albus felt his stomach churn when Gary let out a low perfectly evil cackle.
“You still don’t know? She is much closer to animal then you could ever think! As my fiancé I have the right to treat her and change her as I like!”
With this he pulled out his wand fiercely and pointed it at Albus’ chest.
“You have been nothing but a liability, everything I have tried to get rid of you just drifts past you! You’ve corrupted her!” Gary snarled gesturing towards Minerva.
“She abided to my every rule; I was never forced to have to try my potions out on her before you turned up!”
“YOU WERE BLACKMAILING HER SHE HAD NO CHOICE!” Albus yelled not at all bothered by the pesky wand jabbing at his chest. Gary just laughed, his laugh was low and growling it rocketed around the old dusty room.
“Women! You should know by now Albus they never know what they want, as the dominate males we must show them!” Gary snarled. Mad and sexist this man just got worse and worse.
“You… you are unbearable!” Albus snapped again as he pushed the jeering wand away with one hand.
“I could kill you now Dumbledore, but what would be the fun in that I want you to suffer like I did. You stole my woman, you turned my mother against me, you disappeared of to kill some wizard in my last few years of teaching I failed Transfiguration, Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts because you were to busy to finish our tutoring. Do you know how hard it has been! Before the ministry saw my talent for potions I couldn’t get a job I had to give up my dreams because I failed those exams! You will never know what it is like to be called stupid to have the whole wizarding world leering at you calling you thick. I’m not thick they are, you are!” Gary yelled violently. Gary… Albus thought to himself… Gary Winterbourne… Gaz… he had been called Gaz… Gaz Winterbourne. He had known he recognized that last name. Gaz had been a hopeless small boy who received awful grades in everything except potions he had took on the task on tutoring the boy just before he had been called away to dispose of Grindlewald.
“Gaz?” Albus asked softly staring at the twisted broken man before him.
“Don’t call me that! That stupid childish name, Gaz was thick, Gaz has gone. Gary stands in his place.” Gary rambled heavily his wand being crushed in his clenched fist.
“I’ll put an end to you Dumbledore, you have caused me enough suffering.”

I think it's time to show Wacko Gary why Albus is the most powerful wizard of the age. So far he's been very patient with Gary but now it's gone too far! Hope to see some squee-ful AD/MM moments in the last chapter. :-)

Last Chapter!!!!! It doesn't really have much kissage in and a lot of questions are left unanswered so I was planning on writing a sequel what do you guys think?

CHAPTER 14


“NO!” Minerva yelled violently as she pushed Albus behind her and held his wrists tightly, her body acting as a shield for his.
“MINERVA?” Gary asked outraged. “Get out the way you foolish girl!”
“No.” Her voice was filled with an unearthly confidence.
“Minerva?” Albus whispered softly, trying desperately to push her away from him she wouldn’t move. Gary just sighed and pointed his wand directly at Minerva’s chest.
“Caedo!” Gary roared heavily his wand hand shaking dangerously. Albus watched in horror, she was holding his wrists so tightly and even with wand less magic he at least needed at least some movement with his hands. He watched as the bright red sparks got closer and closer. And suddenly they stopped. He stared in awe as those bright threatening sparks stopped in thin air then fall to the ground and smashed like ice. His and Minerva’s hands grip become painful as her body shook violently, never had he seen such immense power. He watched as Gary’s face became the perfect picture of fear, he continued to fire spell after spell all the while backing away from the eerie sight before him. Each of the spells stopped in mid air and either vanished and fell to the floor and smashed. A particularly nasty spell was sent their way as Gary became more and more frustrated and fearful he watched as once again the sparkling particles froze but this time they seemed to swarm around each other creating a large arrow that all of a sudden shot back to its creator and imbedded into his chest. A blood curdling scream rocketed through the small office as Gary stumbled back and collapsed against the wall. He felt Minerva’s body become limp; he was now the one holding her instead of the other way around.
“BLOODY HELL!” Albus heard Alastor cry as he stormed into the room. The floor was covered in what looked to be different colors of glass, the wall was splattered with a trail of blood where Gary had collapsed the wounded man now lay upon the floor breathing heavily. It was over.
Gary was taken to St. Mongos later that day, his wounds were easily healed but the healers had decided it was probably best to keep him in and see if there was a way he could mentally be cured rather then release him to the prison that was Azkaban.
“Minerva what you did for me back in the office and what you said this morning…” Albus muttered as they walked hand in hand out of the ministry.
“It’s been a long day Albus; the wisest thing would be to invite me back to Hogwarts for a drink.” She sighed slyly.
Three hours later Minerva McGonagall sat enclosed in the arms of Albus Dumbledore his hands running through her hair as they talked about anything and everything.
“I plan to resign once I’ve finished the paper work on your case Albus.” She told him truthfully. “The Ceartas life is just not one I can see my self keeping not after this.” She smiled at him softly and took another sip of her fire whiskey.
“What do you plan to do now?” Albus asked softly he knew what she longed for he just wasn’t sure if she had discovered herself yet.
“Oh I don’t know but I’ve had it up to here with the ministry, I want to do something as far away as possible from them.”
“How about teaching?” Albus asked boldly, his hand coming to a stop just above her hip.
”Teaching me?” She laughed hoarsely. “Can you honestly imagine me as a professor?” Albus didn’t answer her.
“There is still one thing you haven’t told me. How did you manage to perform such amazing magic in the ministry and how was Gary blackmailing, what dark secrets was he using?” Albus asked curiosity getting the better of him. She laughed again; she had a beautiful laugh almost like a goddess singing.
“If I told you that, you never be allowed to leave my presence.” She answered a girlish smile lightening her features.
“Perhaps,” Albus muttered lightly. “I don’t want to.”

Hey...you most definitely have to write a sequel! So get to work on it asap! I love how Minerva was able to fight back and turn Gary's spells back on him in the end. That was a fitting end to a nasty man.

Now about that blackmail...I'm like Albus..curious to a fault!
