Monsoons in England?!

Has anyone else in England noticed the freaky weather today! It's lovely and warm outside but wow that rain! It started this morning at about 7 with a huge thunder storm and lots and lots of rain and it's been on and off like that all day. I love it! I love thunder and lightening point blank and since it's nice and warm I like the fool I am have been running around outside getting soaked and enjoying it.

But it is soooo odd! The amount of rain thats coming down now is amazing I've never seen that kind of rain before. We have a pool in our garden just outside the conservatory door (And we have a steep step going into the conservatory) anymore higher and it will seep in. Not to mention the hail stones as well very odd for June!!

I almost wish it was raining here...

Last time it did, my little brother and I played in all the puddles until they basically dried up.. into our clothing.. And then we played with the water hose... And then I hit him in the eye with water... Numerous times..

Ahem.. Well, I'm glad you're enjoying the insane weather!! Go jump in a puddle for me, but watch out for the hail!!

Yes! It's as though the weather has gone completely mental. It was raining horribly when I left England earlier and it's still bloody raining in the US. Whatever happened to hot summer weather?
