I was just thinking that it is the first day of school for HP and thinking how bad that would be on a dreary day (at least in Ohio) like this. I don't start back for 3 more weeks, but I'm looking forward to it. Anyway, this thought just crossed my mind, so I wanted to wish anyone else who is starting school soon or is already back a wonderful school year! Good Luck!

I'm starting on Tuesday. And I'm scared but excited too because it's Sixth Form and not school anymore. Enjoy the rest of your holiday before you go back!

I've already started back school. It's my senior year, and I've heard you're supposed to take it easy. WRONG! This has been my most stressful year so far (it's only been like 4 weeks), and I've got a full schedule:

Advanced Placement English
Trigonometry (first semester)/Advanced Algebra (or something like that- 2nd semester)
Algebra II
Accounting II
Economics (first)/Government (second)

September 1st was our first day of classes. There was a terrifically bad thunderstorm, and campus lost power for ten minutes before the generators kicked on. My poor car was swimming through the car park. All in all, a lovely day all around. Thankfully I had only two classes and a seminar and so was able to leave before the worst hit. It was apparently the remains of the tropical storm...J something, I think. Poor Atlanta.

I start my junior year of high school on Tuesday, and I can't wait! It's been a busy summer, yet I somehow found time to lapse into utterly ridiculous boredom every dang day. O-o; I need to go back just to have something productive to do. ;D

and a technology services class that will teach me to design webpages and set up other things for professors which will be my job (hopefully, if I survive this class) starting winter quarter.

It's probably going to be a busy quarter but I always enjoy going back to school! Which is good considering I want to teach.

I had the same, dear.
My favorite teacher has been replaced, and I just hate the new teacher, everybody says I have to give her a chance, but I just can't. I loved History and the new teacher has succeeded in making it boring.

Why are all the good teachers retiring or being replaced? This sucks. My Language Arts teacher and insperation for a ADMM fic that shoudl be up soon Mrs. Johnson is gone this year too. I loved her

It's the same for me. My biology teacher who's just wonderful is still here, I'm just not being taight by her or the other biology teacher that i wanted and is teaching the same set as her.

I'd give anything now to have not decided beforehand which teachers I wanted.

I had my first day of school today, and I have to say it was not half bad. I pretty much like all of my teachers, but I know nobody in my Lunch. It kinda stinks, but whatever. My sechdule stinks because I have 7th period Lunch, and not any breaks in bettween. Ick.

The other sad thing is that the only Honors I am in is Art. How pathertic is that?

Zoeteproet I'm the same way. Ok gratned it's a bit immature just a bit but I really miss Mrs. Johnson. She was awesome. The new one oddly enough named Mrs. Johnson (theres like 4 or 3 now and there used to be 2 Mr. Johonson too). She was so cool and loved ADMM oddly enough. She read alot of my stories.

I started my Senior year on aug. 10!!! So far it's been really fun. i've been to a couple concerts. I'm on my schools speech and debate team and my partener and i recently qualified for state in duet acting. we are so excited. this year has been amazing so far andit's only going to get better. For my senior gift my granfather is taking me to paris for ten days in the spring. the only thing that is really stressful is filling out applications for collages and scheduleing all of my auditions. but it is going to all be worth it.
