Anyone who lives in the U.S knows that football sessions has started. Which team are you hoping goes to the superbowl?
Now, being from western PA, ya know the place where we say yines instead of you all and pop instead of soda (That's near Pittsburgh if you don't know where we talk like that) I'm hoping the Pittsburgh Steelers go again this year. We need another superbowl ring for the other thumb. Though they don't have all their good players anymore. (J.Betis, a.k.a the Bus is a broadcaster now) I don't think they will go but I'm still hopeful.
P.S. don't flame me because I'm from Steeler Country.

Down here everything is referred to by name, coke, dr. pepper, sprite, or at least in my area. And y'all is proper grammar.

I love the Patriots but my whole family likes the Texans. personally i think they suck and david carr is not all that and a bag of chips. and yes the Cowboys are from Dallas.

I don't really root for any specific NFL team, but I live, breath, and die Ohio State Football, so on Saturday I'm at that game and Sunday I root for former players. I generally root for the Colts, Jets, and Packers (go Hawk!) but it's not as much fun for me as college games.
Does anyone else have a favorite college team?

lol My favorite story to explain my OSU football craziness:
I have an incredible fear of falling. Seriously there are some poses I can't do in yoga because I start to hyperventilate (sp?) although my head is only an inch off the ground. Anyway one year Adam and I had tickets in the the front row of C Deck, which is like a balcony in our stadium. Anyway, I am many hundreds of feet up in the air with only a bar that comes to my thighs to save me if I should go over. Needless to say I was freaking out. During the National Anthem and Carmen Ohio I had to hold on to my boyfriend to stand because my legs were shaking so bad.
By the third quarter I was so mad at the refs that I was leaning over the bar screaming at them throwing leud gestures with both hands (which if you knew me, you would know I never, ever do) with Adam holding onto my jersey and trying to pull me back over the bar.
My love of football overcame my fear of death. lol

But there's only one team (well, actually four but anyhoo...) for me and that's the New Orleans SAINTS, BABY! We kicked Atlanta's a$$ 23 to 3 last night! YES!
However, if my boys don't make it to the Super Bowl, The GreenBay Packers, The New England Patriots, or The St. Louis Rams are who I'm with. (Just depends on who makes it. I'm nore of a Patriots and Rams fan, but I like tha Packers too.)

I watched that game too, it was really good. I was glad the Saints won - it was fitting. :-)

OK i have a dilemma, my cousin supports the Jets, his son the Giants, and and my sister the Patriots....I don't know who to support!!
I'm more a baseball fan...Go the Mets...NL East Division Champs (It won't last but i'm enjoying it while it does!!)

i actually dont like football. i used to when i was younger and we would have a bunch of people come over to watch the game but now its just sorta boring. but if i did have to go for a team it would be the packers like i used to.

...But they tricked me into thinking they'd turn things around this year. They tricked me! After the last few games, I'm not letting my hopes up. It's too frustrating and upsetting. They really need to start playing better. They can, but they don't. Fix it, Andy! Fix it!
I really should root for another team, for the sake of my mental health, but I can't. I love the Eagles.

I've never been much of a football watcher, but I do like the Chargers. It sucks cuz when my mom married my step dad, I found out that they were all KCChiefs fans..... So whenever the Chargers play against KC, or whenver a local team like the Angel's, Dodgers, etc, play a team from KC, then I'm always against them. It's kinda funny cuz one time a bunch of us went to a baseball game where it was Angels vs. KC and I was the only Angel's fan and the Angel's won both games (It was a double-game day). I didn't gloat, though, cuz one of the guys with us was my step-dad's mentally handicapped brother and I didn't want to gloat until he was gone. ~mmadlyinlove~

I'm not a big football fan, but I always root for the Pats. I prefer baseball, which was great when I was living in New York, since I'm a Red Sox fan I only got a few thing thrown at me |
