That happened to me as well.. I went to see the film with my friend, who hates ADMM with a passion, and at the Yule Ball scene I started squealing "They're dancing they're dancing!" and practically bouncing in my seat; she sighed in that 'someone save me' manner, gave me a look and said, "Could you please stop that? They're old."
Harry Potter doesn't particularly interest my little brother, but I once said to him, "Remember in the Harry Potter films, d'you think Professor McGonagall - y'know, the one in the green robes, who teaches Transfiguration - d'you think she fancies Dumbledore and that he fancies her?" After careful consideration and an exercise in reminding himself who those characters were, he said yes! I don't know if he was humouring me; I like to think he wasn't.

it's really quite kewl because there are quite a few people at my school who write fan fic and while not all of them write ADMM many of them read it! the kewlest though is that a teacher caught me writing my latest fic && she asked what it was. at first i didn't tell her, but then when she asked if she could read it && i said no she asked me why (i let her read some of the songs i write). neways i told her, ship && all, && she asked if she could read it when i was done!!! i couldn't believe it

Noone knows about my MMAD obsession. I think if any of my friends or family found out I think they would fear for my sanity. They already think I am too old to read HP let alone obsess about it. I agree that it would be hideous if my work was read out in public..(I have been writing fanfics for over 10 years but have never let anyone read them, I'm not sure I ever will) I went to see GoF with some friends and had to hide my excitement during the Yule Ball scene. When we left I had to join in a conversation about the merits of the CGI and special effects to stop myself babbling about how sweet they looked together.

I am always waffeling on and on about my MMAD obsession! People humor me for the most part, so it is very humbling when I find myself talking with someone who does not share my views. Hahaha. No one goes as far as I do, at least no one that I know personally. Hahaha.
